Dr. Thomas' staff was efficient and helpful when I called to make an appointment. They were proficient with the insurance process and were able to get me in very quickly (which was great, since I was in quite a bit of pain). Upon arrival at his office, my wait time was minimal (you know how long you usually sit in waiting rooms at doctor’s offices! Ugh!). The office atmosphere was nice - very much a "doctor's office" but without the sterile feeling; it was also incredibly clean (yes, I notice these things; maybe it’s weird, but I think my doctor should be organized and clean!). Dr. Thomas has one of the best bed-side manners I've ever experienced. He was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable, and I immediately felt comfortable talking to him. I ended up needing an injection, so prior to him starting the injection he carefully walked me through each step he was going to take. This really put me at ease, because I have a *tiny* fear of needles. :) Dr. Thomas took the time to numb my skin EVEN before he gave me a local anesthetic. It's those extra things that really make the difference to me. While the injection wasn't pain free, he was very gentle and took his time. His office staff made sure I was comfortable and even offered a glass of water when I felt a little queasy after the injection. Overall, this was one of my best experiences with a physician and his staff. I can see why this guy has been a favorite in this town for so long. He knows what he's doing; he takes the time to spend with his patients explaining and talking with them; and he is just an all-around, very nice man.

Great and caring office making sure I was seen in a timely manner Had seen Dr. Thomas previously years ago and returned even though it was a bit of a drive for me. His bed side manner is wonderful and his knowledge about my hip and leg was right on. He explained all my options to me carefully and helped me make the right decision. Highly recommend him.

I had filled two Rx's locally (written by DR Thomas)and received generic meds both times at $5.00 each(thru Aetna). I then called Dr Thomas's office and asked that he fax my Rx to Aetna to continue receiving these meds long term(required by Aetna). He then faxed an Rx(which I never saw) to Aetna's office in Florida. Without my knowledge, Dr Thomas wrote the Rx in such a way that by state law Aetna could not fill my Rx with the generic meds that I had been using and was expecting. Aetna sent me the name brand meds that Dr Thomas told them to send. Instead of being charged $15.00 for three months supply as I was expecting, Aetna charged my bank account $700.00. This wiped out my account. I didn't even have gas money. When I found what happened Aetna refused to do anything as they only did what Dr Thomas told them to. I tried to contact Dr Thomas and he refused to talk to me. His office people refused to even admit they did anything wrong. They were very arrogent and uncaring.

I went by ambulance after falling 10ft from a tree, and saw Mr. Thomas. He put me in intensive care, then into a private room on pain medication for several days. I had not tried to get up, or had I gone to the bathroom yet when he said I could go home, that he was NOT a back Dr. so with a chest plate to hold me in place I laid for months. That I needed to find a pain clinic, for help that there is nothing that could be done for my back. I finally got where I could get around, and went to the Texas Back Institute of Texas. After CT Scans, MR'S, I was told that my back very well could of been fixed if I had gotten to a Back Dr. right away. I am just mad, that he did not tell me right off the bat he was not a back DR.
