Avoid at all costs. The physician and her practice only pay lipservice to patient advocacy and maternal mental health. Their poor treatment nearly cost me my life and my sanity.

I’m not satisfied with the care from Dr. Hashemi. I do not feel like she is concerned with my personal needs. To me; it seems like more of a power struggle and scheduling concern than patient care. I don’t feel confident that I am in caring hands as the birth of my child is near.

am in this doctor. First, let me say Neda Hashemi has been my doctor for many years. She birthed one of my daughters and has helped me through many miscarriages. Since she moved into reston, and I guess now more widely successful, she has lost her ability to care about her patients. My 19 also goes to this doctor and had, what I was told, would be a simple procedure . In the office, in and out. I remember after the procedure, her assistant and her came out and jokingly said something that I now realize, was a way for her to try to assuage guilt. I recently saw the result, my daughter finally showed me and I am so angry with myself for trusting Hashemi. I have tried reaching out to her office and left a note when I went into the office, and no return call. This lack of accountability is unacceptable.

We Love Dr Hashemi , and Dr Meriman. Have not had any big issues with their efficiency, knowledge, availability or attentiveness. I have had to wait in the office waiting a bit longer than typical however I do not count this against them since they are OB/GYN's in they do you have to deliver babies and go to the hospital which may delay their office schedules, I would want them to do the same for me. The front staff is also great they answer your questions and there is not much of a wait to see the doctor for short notice appointments. Dr. Hashemi takes her job very seriously and make sure that no detail is overseen. Which is what you want from your Physician.

The front desk is just plain rude. They're always giggling and talking amongst themselves and even when you make an appointment with them they give you an attitude. This has been going on for a while. So clearly even with the complaints, this has not been addressed. Dr Hashemi is great if you can get an appointment with her. You have to wait at least 1-2 months and even then she may be pulled to the hospital so she may not even be there.

Neda Hashemi takes least amount of interest in patients. yes she is polite and sweet to talk to but does that really fix a patient? I was not comfortable asking her any questions and would not get any straight answers. Although I used her for my first pregnancy but would not recommend her at all. On the day of my delivery, her midwife Tracy was attending to me and guess what? While I was in labor, Tracy had to go out with her friends for four hours! My nurse had to make several phone calls to Tracy to show up in the hospital. Then she started waiting for another standby doctor(whom I had never met before) to come in to do the stitches. It was a horrible experience. If you are pregnant, please go to a practice with atleast three doctors so that you can see each one of them during pregnancy and at least one of them will make it on the D day. Instead of working around your labor/delivery, this office tries to time your delivery and labor to fit their schedules. Please avoid.

This practice used to be good a decade ago, but it has gone down since. She is a nice person, but like the reviewer below, I agree that she claims to have said certain things which she later denies (or vice versa). The office is way too crowded, and I agree that the front desk staff are unprofessional (giggling, whispering, etc.). The only person who truly seems to care and put in effort is the nurse (I think her name is Marlene). Overall, very "meh".
