I have been a patient for Dr. Yu now for at least 10 years or more. He is truly one of my all time favorite doctors.
Dr. Yu is very personable, respectful and extremely knowledgeable…I always look forward to my visits with him and really enjoy conversing with his staff.

I would not recommend Dr. George Yu located at Dignity Health in Camarillo, CA. Dr Yu offered me a clinical trial of REGENCOV-2 (on a phone conversation I did not initiate) since I had contracted COVID 19 with very mild symptoms. It was presented to me that all this would be at no cost, and he never mentioned billing insurance or having to pay for anything out of pocket. He boasted that "This is the same infusion the President received" trying to sell it like a used car dealer, and said that if I didn't get it right away, it would no longer be available to me. A couple of weeks later I received a bill for a phone consult AND for the infusion totaling more than $400. Is this a predatory practice to trick people who are suffering from COVID19 so he can profit from their misfortunes? Should I not advise anyone to do business with him? There was never any mention from him about having to pay out of pocket, or of his office/billing dept. attempting to bill insurance. I tried speaking with his office personnel and the billing dept. re. the charges. Neither would budge on reducing or writing off the amount billed to me after I explained the situation to them. The billing dept. said they would send it to collections if i did not pay. Is there any Dignity in that? If I knew I would be billed for the phone call (that I did not initiate) and for the REGENCOV-2 infusion, i would never had taken the offer. I would have been fine without the infusion since I was having very mild COVID19 symptoms before I received the infusion. I hope this helps anyone from falling for the same thing that I did.

I have seen Dr Yu over years and find him to be the best. Very knowledgeable and thorough.
