I've seen Dr. Jacobi for my 2nd pregnancy and delivery, as well as a miscarriage of my 3rd. She was extremely knowledgable and caring. There are times she ran behind, but this is due to the number of patients that request her. She is straight forward and answers questions with the facts. I would recommend her to anyone.

I have seen Dr Jacobi for nearly 10 years. She delivered my three children (via c-section) and will always remain as my GYN. She is honest, to the point, thorough, and has a compassionate ear. It took many years to conceive my first baby and I had to see a RE for all my pregnancies (via her recommendation). She was always supportive of this route and patient with my high maintenance demeanor for each pregnancy. She knew how to put me at ease and make me laugh through all my hormones and crazy moments. She is busy (which I see as a good thing) so she can seem hasty in appts or occasionally be behind, but she always gives me her full attention when I’m in her exam room. My RE told me that she believes she is the BEST GYN surgeon in all of Omaha, so if a complication were to ever arise, I know I’m in the best hands!

I waited for 40+ minutes past my **appointed time** today, and ended up leaving without even being taken back to a room. The reception staff has always been very friendly. However, I had an undesirable experience with her nurse last month and feel that today's delay may have been intentional because of it. Dr. Jacobi was extremely frank with me last year when I mentioned my husband and I were ready to have a baby, at the age of 45. In some sense I appreciated her honesty. But, I had just told my friend a few weeks ago, who had recommended me to her a couple years ago, that if we were to attempt to conceive, I would most likely go to someone else who would provide a positive and supportive environment for our decision . I took today's experience as a sign it is time to move on. In finding this site and reading the reviews, I've found a little peace of mind that it isn't just me whose had a less than stellar experience.

Staff is rude and uncaring. Believe I'm having a miscarriage and they won't see me for a month and a half

This woman has no idea how to treat someone coming in wanting to have a baby. She was rude and belittling, and made me feel very uncomfortable in an already awkward situation.

This woman is the absolute worst doctor I've ever visited. She should not be allowed to practice medicine. I went in because my period had lasted for three whole months without stop. She said that that wasn't the sign of a problem, it was just annoying. (Um...What?) She refused to give me a proper exam, didn't look at my medical records, didn't ask me any questions. She just immediately started shoving birth control pills on me. (I am very anti medication, but she refused to acknowledge this.) I agreed to give the pills a shot, mostly because she swore up and down that there were no side effects. (LIES) I had horrible, awful side effects and when I called to ask for help she just told me to keep taking them. I didn't, because I have more sense than she does. HORRIBLE DOCTOR. (I did find out a few months down the road that I had an extremely swollen uterus because of a birth defect)

I've used Dr. Jacobi for several years, and she helped deliver my 2 middle children (I live in Louisiana now). She was always prompt, answered all my questions to my satisfaction, and very supportive of my decision to have unmedicated, natural births. She let me labor at my own pace with no interventions and suggested several different positions and techniques for easily turning baby (he was face up for a while) and for pain management. I also liked her Gyn care, as she was prompt, efficient, and helped tremendously with some abnormal test results.

Jacobi has been my OBGYN for three years now. I have referred many friends to her. She has delivered my two children and hope she delivers anymore I have. Since moving to her new location on 192nd and dodge I would say I wait way longer in the waiting room and feel more rushed in and out. Jacobi seems to be very knowlegable and can answer all questions but doesn't explain super well.Overall she is a great doctor. Her new office is fantastic and the hospital if phenominal!

Dr. Jacobi is great for GYN, quick visits. I was not pleased, however, with her OB visits. She did not schedule enough time for me to feel relaxed enough to ask all my questions. I always felt I was taking too much of her time. She was usually late, or on her way to or from a delivery. She did not provide much in the way of education and explanation of options. Based on a few preferences I stated regarding childbirth, she assumed I subscribed to a whole philosophy of childbirth (which I didn't) and assumed I wanted everything according to that philosophy, resulting in a few tense moments. All that said, I was pleased with her performance in delivery itself and no real complaints there. If you are looking for a confident doctor who can take charge and tell you how everything will be done to minimize any risk at all, she may be perfect for you. If you take more of a "wait and see" stance to childbirth timing, etc., she is not the best fit.
