I am currently a patient of Dr. David E. Sosin. I have seen Doctor Sosin every three months for almost 28 years. For each of these appointments I drive a round trip of 114 miles, so clearly I need and want to see this doctor. When I came to Doctor Sosin in l992, I had been struggling with ever- increasing headaches for 23 years, so Doctor Sosin was a godsend for me. The attention, concern, and care provided by Doctor Sosin was an awakening to me of how a doctor could work and continually try new procedures and remedies. I had tried other doctors before who seemed so limited in knowledge and interest in migraines, and consequently there was no relief. As a friend just recently said to me, she believes Doctor Sosin saved my life. It was also due to Doctor Sosin's monitoring that he first diagnosed my pre-diabetes and got me started on proper medication and dietary changes. He has helped to see that my diabetes is handled by a local endocrinologist. Doctor Sosin is what it means to be a good doctor.

I have been seeing Doctor Sosin for 27 years. In Doctor Sosin I finally found a doctor who was not dismissive of a woman with migraine headaches. He was the first to try multiple methods and medications to get to a solution. The other doctors tried something, it did not work, and that was it. It was debilitating to work with a headache so bad I would eventually be throwing up from the pain. It was only Doctor Sosin who stuck with me and now I can control them. I will be forever grateful to him. I was obstinate and would not leave work with a headache unless I did get to the point of vomiting. As a Human Resources Manager to employees with plenty of problems of their own, the headaches were like a shadow over my work and life. With Doctor Sosin's expertise, I was able to work and retire after 40 years of service. Doctor Sosin was the miracle in my life and continues to be. He does not give up on you.

Dr. Sosin has helped me so much since I started seeing him in June 2018. He is always willing to take the time to understand my life and my needs and work with me on a treatment plan. His office staff is wonderful and I always look forward to my appointments. Dr. Sosin’s extensive expertise in ADD has helped me understand myself and manage my responsibilities so much better. Thank you!

I love Dr Sosin and his approach which is unique to so many other dr’s in this sterile environment that has been created. One size does not fit all, and neither does one dose. Unique to people are their size, metabolism, sex, the list goes on.... he actually cares about his patients, and doesn’t limit his discussion to one thing as so many aspects of our lives have an impact on the care needed. I am forever grateful to have found him, and would definitely strongly recommend him to others. He is open to discussions with your care, but also provides you with knowledge about what he’s giving you & drug information.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sosin’s since 2014. I was diagnosed approx. 9 years ago with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) by my previous physician in Washington State—where I lived at the time. From the time of diagnosis until the time I became a patient of Dr. Sosin’s, I never felt that my ADD symptoms were being controlled well with medication. My prior physician changed medications and dosages multiple times, but none of these changes had a significant effect. I was still having difficulty concentrating because I became easily distracted and couldn’t focus for more than a few minutes at a time.

After I began being treated by Dr. Sosin in October of 2014, I was finally able to concentrate for extended periods of time and not become distracted easily. Dr. Sosin listened carefully to my experiences and responses to prior treatments prescribed by my former physician. He tailored the treatment for me and carefully adjusted dosage and medication to find what worked best to keep my symptoms under control. Dr. Sosin is the first physician I’ve been treated by who spends as much time as is needed to find an ideal solution that keeps symptoms under control. For the first time in my life, I felt that I was no longer being controlled by my ADD.

Having my symptoms under control has given me my life back—and I have Dr. Sosin to thank for that.

I am a resident physician in Internal Medicine largely due to the help that I received from Dr. Sosin. I have been seeing Dr. Sosin for more than 15 years now but initially when I saw Dr. Sosin, I was depressed and basically in a rut. I hadn’t been diagnosed but from the things that I had read, I was almost certain that I had ADHD. After getting tested, Dr. Sosin basically told me that I was the poster child for ADHD. At that point I had already received a Masters degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology so I wasn’t like many ADHD patients who have difficulty graduating from school but I was unable to get into medical school, a dream that I had had since the age of 7. After Dr. Sosin started treating me, I eventually was accepted to medical school and now I am currently a resident in Internal Medicine-something that I probably could not have done without his help. Dr. Sosin is not like most physicians. He has seen enough to know that many people do not fit into the neat little groups for response to medications. Medicine, in general, is catching on to this idea now with cancer treatments but Dr. Sosin was aware of this much earlier. Everyone is different and they respond differently to medications and everything else. He listens to you and will treat your disease based on your clinical response, the way it should be, and not to some preset dosage guidelines published by the medical associations. Meeting him was the best thing that could have happened to me. Dr. Sosin helped me to realize my dream of becoming a physician, something I was unable to do despite my efforts for years, and ultimately get me out of a long treatment-resistant depression.

Nothing but possitive things to say about Dr. Sosin. He helped me as a Child when my father took me into get evaluated after being treated under the care of another physician who clearly didn’t have proper knowledge or companion that it takes to treat this disorder properly. Now over 20 years later ( I just turned 30 ) I STILL REMEMBER Dr. Sosin and am forever greatful for the knowledge and tool that be thought me that I still use to this day. I will be back into see him soon as recently becoming a new Mother and Wife amount lives many hardships has had me thinking about to Dr. Sosin and I know that he is the one to help me and my loved ones work threw this. It’s a TEAM EFFORT! KNOWLEDGE IS KEY PEOPLE! Education yourself and those around you. My year and a half year old son is also showing many signs of being an ADDer himself so I know Dr. Sosin will be able to help with Communication and helping him ( and our family ) properly cope and work threw the struggles! I highy recommend DR.SOSIN to many one seeking help and feeling like no one understands or knows how they feel. ADD is a very complex disorder. Thank you Dr. sosin foral your time and true care and compassion that you have put into helping others. I will be seeing you very soon

I was under Dr Sosin’s care for 22 years for cluster headaches. The first and only Dr. That was able to deal with my severe pain I’ve suffered with since 1970. The most excellent and outstanding Dr. I have had the privilege of knowing. Thank you so much, your patient and friend always. Steve Simonian, Susie sends her love.

As current & up to date on ADD research/medication as anyone you'll find. Very common sense, down to earth, empathetic approach to consults, he knows how/when to jump to a point you want to make to let you know he "gets it" because he has ADD himself. Doesn't suffer fools gladly, which is refreshing for those of us with ADD. Really wants to know if you feel like you're succeeding as he works with you to optimize medication/dosage/frequency--definitely not a cookie cutter approach. Also takes a detailed MD approach to overall health, asking about BP, blood sugar, cholesterol, sleep, etc., and pushes you to see a specialist to diagnose/manage anything he sees out of the ordinary.

Originally was only going to score him a 3 on punctuality, but changed it to a 5--while true that I often have to wait 15-20 minutes past my appointment time to be seen, it's because he takes the time to thoroughly discuss issues with patients. I can honestly say the only time I've ever felt rushed over the dozen or so times I've seen him is when he had to leave the office at the end of the day for an appointment he and his front desk told me about when I arrived. Very generous with his time and will only charge a 15 minute consult when in reality appointment has gone two or three times that long. Does not accept insurance so payment is expected at the end of the appointment but they will put together receipts that can be submitted for reimbursement by insurance (which will always be at out of network rate for PPOs since he does not belong to any insurance networks).

Overall, a very caring, compassionate, highly educated and highly skilled physician who to me has made a significant difference in the quality of my life by working with me to diagnose my ADD, develop an optimal medication regimen, and educate me as to the condition and how to manage it. If you suspect you or a loved one may have ADD/ADHD, go to his website, fill out the forms, and go see him...you'll be very glad you did.
