Dr Condit completed a surgery on my right wrist the middle of November 2019 due to arthritis between the thumb metacarpal and the trapezium bone. Dr Condit removed the wrist bone and I could not be happier. Nineteen staples were used to close the incisions and as of today, Feb. 21, 2020, you can barely see the scar and I have full movement back in my wrist and thumb. I have even played two rounds of golf in the past two weeks. He completed the same operation on my left wrist four years ago and all is well with that wrist as too. I would recommend Dr Condit for any hand or wrist surgeries. He and his staff are exceptional.

I waited 7 weeks to see Dr Condit. I waited 2 hours for him to spend barely 5 minutes with me. He asked a few questions of me then told me that I didn't need him. He also said he did not know why my primary care physician referred me to him. When I attempted to explain her reason why he cut me off and said he had other patients that needed him and out the door he went. I wanted to cry, I've been off work for 5 weeks and in extreme pain. I'm a new patient on the MIHealth Medicaid program and I believe he blew me off because of it

He may be the best hand surgeon on earth, but he is the single worst communicating doctor I have ever known. He ignores questions and is in a huge hurry to leave the exam room. You'll leave feeling like you have infringed on his time. Again, I can't speak to his ability as a surgeon. After a few visits I am looking for a doctor that is actually interested in communicating with his patient. This one is not.

My husband was scheduled for a surgery for a broken thumb joint. Everything went well until Dr. Condit found out we have Medicaid. The office takes Medicaid but he refuses to do the surgery because and I quote "Medicaid isn't real insurance. I won't be making any money from this I'll actually be losing money. If you want this surgery done I want a check or a credit card billed for the difference." We were appalled to hear this come from a doctor who's supposed to be dedicated to helping those in need. He called later after speaking to his manager and apologized saying "Im sorry it didn't work out Im just having a bad day." However he still won't do the surgery and told us to find someone else. The problem is that no one else will do the surgery because Dr. Condit is already in the system as starting the service. So now my husband has had a broken hand for a week and a half and we don't know if/when he will be able to have the surgery. So much for the Hippocratic oath.

The doctor was rude and when he did not feel I needed surgery, he seemed disinterested.
