he explained things simple enough to understand. two other dr's never made sense to mel very nice and easy-going.staff are very friendly made you feel like you've been going to him for years

Professional and courteous office staff. I filled out some standard paperwork upon arriving at his office. Upon completion of the paperwork, I was escorted to an examination room where the Doctor immediately saw me. Dr. Pickover was thorough and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to diagnose my problem and offered appropriate remedies. He followed-up with me several days later to see how I felt and made me feel like I was his only patient. It was refreshing to see a Doctor that really seemed to care about his patients. He made me feel comfortable and I would highly recommend Dr. Pickover.

An excellent doctor - he is competent, knowledgeable, personable, thorough, and always takes the time to explain and evaluate options. Dr. Pickover has always been very responsive whenever we have called - and for a patient with an ongoing chronic illness - this means a lot. His office staff is consistently great, always pleasant, and makes you feel comfortable. We have never had to wait more than a couple of minutes at any appointment. I wish we never had a need to go see doctors, but if you do, I recommend him highly.

As a health care provider I've had the opportunity to evaluate many physicians and am very choosy about who I see. I have been a patient of Dr. Pickover's for several years. From my fist visit with Dr. Pickover, I felt that he was very compassionate, a great listener, and very knowledgeable. He includes me in discussions regarding my treatment by explaining my options, and making recommendations, then allowing me to make the decision. As a person with a chronic disease, its important to me to feel in control of my disease. I have been so impressed with his care over the years that I have recommended him to several people and have brought my family members to him.

I was very pleased with his service. He went out of his way to scheldule my colonscopy to my convenience, and I received excellent care from Dr. Pickover. I have recommended him to my friends and family.

This doctor completely missed my diagnosis on a colon scan and I had to suffer it for 3 more months before a more competent doctor found the cause within 5 minutes of the first visit. Even worse are his secretaries who are extremely rude and act as though they are bending over backwards for you simply by doing their jobs. I asked them if I could make an earlier appointment for a scan and on secretary complained about it to someone she was on the phone with right in front of my face. I didn't have my check book with me to pay the copay so another secretary yells "unbelievable!" and throw an envelop in front of me and walled away. I missed an appointment later on that I didn't need anyone, but when I called to explain that one of them hung up on me. I have NEVER seen such unprofessional behavior! It's bad enough to be in medical discomfort and scared about your physical status, but this staff sure knows how to add insult to injury! Avoid this doctor and office altogether.
