FYI; I have been a patient of Dr. Davidson's for almost 20 years, and I can without question sayt that he is, "The most professional and thorough O.D. I have ever had". To date he has referred me to two specialists for one reason or another, and all have noted the meticulous care he provides each and every patient. It is easier to go to a specialist closer to home to provide the same exams that Dr. Davidson provides, but I choose to let Dr. Davidson continue to examine my eyes as my primary O.D., because of the history he has of them. Dr. Davidson is the best OD my husband and I have ever seen. He is very thorough, professional, and skilled. He is down to earth and friendly. He takes his time and covers everything, working in an efficient manner. He is the best!

Dr. Davidson is by far one of the best OD you can find. He gave me a one of the best exams ever. He also detected a eye condition and referred me to a Eye Disease Center. I like the fact that he looks at your entire health picture and lifestyle and then will give you his honest opinion of corrective measures based on all those facts. He is now my Eye Doctor and would drive miles to see him.

Richard Davidson- bad business practice, I was trying to order some contacts and the doctor would not approve the order b/c my prescription had expired by ONE DAY! Its not like I was getting regular contacts, it was color contacts for my vacation and the doctor would not approve the order b/c my prescription had expired the day saying it was "office policy" Even though we both know he just wants me to come in now for business. Well its not going to work, I am NEVER going back. Money is more important then the customer apparently...

Dr. Davidson is very knowledgeable! He caught a potential issue with my retina and sent me to a retinal specialist, who was impressed that Dr. Davidson had noticed the issue!

Dr. Davidson is so thorough and helpful. He recommended daily disposables for me because I kept getting infections in my monthlys. He fixed a lot of my eye issues. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Dr. Davidson. He was very helpful and patient with all the questions that I asked. Before him, I saw about 3+ eye doctors and was never satisfied with my prescription and felt like the previous Dr.'s did not care about my eyes nor answer my questions thoroughly. With Dr. Davidson, he made sure that he answered all my questions and that I understood the answer and that I left his office with the best prescription for my eyes. I am happy with my prescription and the overall health of my eyes. Because he was located in Tysons Corner, I wasn't looking forward to the bill, since I do not have vision insurance and I'm a college student. He was generous enough to give me a discount. I will be back to office and I recommend him to everyone!

I have been going to Dr. Davidson for a decade, though less frequently ever since he moved out to Tyson's Corner. He is very professional and thorough and has no problem answering any questions you may have. He tries to get to know you too and gives his honest opinion. Only downside is that he is an out-of-network insurance provider for VSP. I'll still go after reimbursement and see what I can get.
