I am surprised Dr. Brumbaugh is still practicing. When my daughter was only six years old she needed some work and was told to swallow a large pill before work began. She was scared... and his solution was to tell her he would have to "manually" force her to take it (as he started to put on gloves). This man is a monster, and I don't know how he has even one good review. My advice is to run - and be advised that he makes you pay for the procedure PRIOR to having it done. After this experience I took my daughter to my own dentist, who is a very nice woman, and she has never had a single issue. It makes me ill that this man advertises that he works with special needs children, and I would hate to see how he treats a child when the parent ISN'T in the room, after seeing how he behaved with me right there.

Receptionist at check in was extremely personable. Our children loved the train layout in the waiting room. The assistant who brought our children back for their appointment seemed very unsure of herself and lacked professional demeanor. At one point she asked, "Are they brushing and all that stuff?". I asked how long she had worked at the practice and she said a few months. I was surprised that she was left to see patients on her own. Dr. Brumbaugh was amazing! My children really connected with him. I will try a different assistant next time.

I was surprised that this dentist is a "pediatric" dentist...he ignored my son when my son was talking and did not respond to him...he also was not very polite with me...

I have three children who see Dr. Brumbaugh. While I don't personally like him (he can be dismissive and rude on ocassion), my children do like him and that's enough for me. They enjoy their trips to the dentist and he is very, very patient with them. His new office is beautiful, modern and very clean. I'll keep bringing my kids to him as long as they are treated well. I'm not overyly impressed with most of the dental hygienist's people skills (we've had ONE that was personable) but again, the kids didn't seem to mind much. The dental assistants are top notch.

Our appointment was for a consultation. First, I was very dissapointed in the up-keep of the office, it seemed very run-down. Though the staff seemed nice, I was not impressed with Dr. Brumbaugh. He was unhelpful, wanted to rush through our appointment, and funny enough tried sell us some of the products that they have there as a solution to some of my daughters dental needs. We were not thrilled with his attitude towards us. His own nurse even came up with ideas that he did not. We ended up having a 2nd opinion where we found a wonderful dentist, with a clean office, someone willing to sit down & talk to us and was much much less expensive. We first tried Dr. Brumbaugh due to a referral & online glowing reviews, but I felt the need to post our opinion as I'm sure we are not the only ones that have felt this way.

Dr. Brumbaugh is by FAR the best pediatric dentist in this area and beyond. My two daughters have been seeing him since he has been in the Shenandoah Valley. Dr. Brumbaugh goes above and beyond for EVERY patient. He has an amazing way with children, and always makes my daughters and myself feel very at-ease while in his office. I would recommend Dr. Brumbaugh 100%!!!

He is amazing, his staff is awesome. My terrified 4 year old was at ease in minutes. Now she asks if she can go to the dentist! I couldn't be happier.

What a GREAT dentist! I traveled 30 minutes w/ my 2 kids trying to find them a good dentist to go to and am glad that I did! I live in a different city but he is by far the best dentist we have been to.
