Dr Hereford diagnosed and did surgery on my right knee 5 years ago. I haven't had a problem with it since the surgery. He also recently diagnosed a back problem and referred me to s physical therapist that worked wonders. He is very personable and I have recommended him to several people.

This guy is a contract Dr. For workers comp. He doesn't care if you are fixed. He only cares that they pay him to send you back to work as quick as possible. I need a total knee replacement and he tried to send me back to crawling in the mines after a couple weeks!

Dr. Hereford has a wonderful personality and is extremely nice. However, I do question his medical ability. He performed my 1st back surgery (L5/S1 level). About 2 yrs. later I started having problems again. He sent me for an MRI and had another appt. with me telling me that the MRI shows a large ovarian cyst and he is certain this cyst is putting pressure on my nerves around that area and that I needed to go to my gynocologist. I went and my OBGYN told me that these cysts are common and in no way have anything to do with the pain I was experiencing in my back. The cyst was ruptured and I still had the pain. My OBGYN also told me (while looking at my MRI) that he was not going to bash another dr., but I should get a 2nd opinion. I did and my new spine doctor sent me for an MRI. The MRI report from the hospital states "Severe degenerative disc disease at the L5/S1 level with substantial anterior disc herniation" That is where my pain is coming from. Im sure Dr. Hereford knew this.
