Nazar. I had back Surgery April 4, 2011 every step of the surgery was explained to me beforehand. He was very gentle and has a wonderful bedside manner. He has left an indelible mark on me. I cannot imagine anyone not highly recommending him.

Amazing Doctor, personable, kind and ever so smart. I would trust no other to do my surgery. It was wonderful, I felt great and was able to return to work promptly and have had no problems in the 8 years since the surgery. I am SO thankful that my doctor sent me to Dr. Nazar!!

Dr. Nazar is a very good surgeon. He operated on me in Nov. 2010, it's been probably 15 years since I have felt this good. Dr. Werner worked with him on my surgery another very good dr.

I am a local doctor in New Albany, IN. We have probably sent over 100 people to Dr. Nazar for consultation and/or surgery. Not all of them ended up having surgery but the ones that did all came out better. There is no grey area with this guy- either you need surgery and it will help or you don't. Some other doctors say "I'll operate on you and give you a 75% chance of success." In my experience, if he operates on a patient they all get better. I would highly recommend him and would only go to him if I needed surgery. If you do need surgery, though, stop smoking ASAP. Mike Norman DC 1st Choice Health and Wellness

THIS DOCTOR IS THE BEST NEUROSURGEON IN THE WORLD.HE HAS HELPED ME OUT ALOT,ALTHOUGH THERE IS NOTHING HE CAN DO FOR ME NOW BUT HE HAS TRIED EVERYTHING POSSIBLE.I HAVE HYDROCEPHULAS AND HE HAS DONE MANY SURGERIES ON MY HEAD AND BACK.HE HAS HELPED ME AND WHEN MY PARENTS WERE GOING THROUGH A ROUGH TIME,HE EVEN OFFERED TO HELP THEM.WHEN HE PUT MY SHUNT IN ON MY SPINE,I HAD A MUSCLE SPASM DURING SURGERY AND SENT THE TUBE THROUGH MY BOWEL.HE CAME IN THE NEXT MORNING SAYING HE THOUGHT HE DID BUT THE XRAY PEOPLE SAID EVERYTHING WAS OKAY BUT IT WASNT.HE SET WITH MY PARENT FOR 7 HRS WHILE THEY DID SURGERY.IVE HAD MANY SEIZURES AND HE HAS BEEN THERE FOR ME AND MY PARENTS.HE EVEN WENT AND SEE MY MOM WHEN SHE WAS ON A RESPIRATOR AND HE DIDNT HAVE TO BECAUSE IT WASNT FOR A CONSULT,HE WAS JUST CHECKING ON HER.I REALLY LIKE THIS DOCTOR AND WOULD RECOMMEND HIM ANYTIME.HE IS THE ONLY DOCTOR IN HIS OFFICE,THATS WHY IT TAKES SO LONG TO GET IN PEOPLE.

My appointment was at 3:30 p.m. and at nearly 4:30 p.m., myself and others in the waiting room were told Dr. Nazar had to leave for an emergency and we would have to reschedule. The next available appointment was nearly three weeks away. One couple's appointment was at 2:45. Another had been sitting there since 3 p.m. I realize emergencies happen, but I think there should be backup or an alternate plan that is better than just sending people home after rescheduling. It took two weeks to get an appointment. I took off work for this appointment. Then, I can't be seen again for almost three weeks? It was very aggravating.

Absolute gem of a doctor. He has been my sons doctor for about 22 years. He is one of few surgeons that preform some of the delicate surgeries he does. Great bedside manner. He treats the family - not just the patient! I'd recommend him in a heartbeat.
