During the fall quarter of my freshmen year I tore my lateral meniscus.After being informed by my primary doctor that I would need surgery I was referred to Dr. Metheny.Unfortunately the events that ensued has led me to dread my experience with Dr.M.Here is why:Dr.M convinced me that after having my meniscectomy I would back to 100% within 3 months.This however, was not the case.After having surgery,I went to physical therapy but my knee never recuperated anywhere near 100% not even 80%.After failing to fully recover,I went back to Dr. Metheny who told me to "keep on rehabbing on my own" and that it would get better.A year later, I was still the same with knee pain that kept me on the couch.Looking back I wish I had taken the time to do proper research before buying into Metheny's promise that I would be okay in no time.Due to the lack of improvement from Metheny's surgery I recently had to undergo another surgery to fix what Dr.M failed to do.Learnfrommy mistake,find a better surgeon!

I had shoulder surgery performed by Dr. Metheney - all I can say is WOW! No surgery is easy, but Dr. Metheney and his ENTIRE staff were simply put, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. The type of surgery I had was difficult and the recovery time was long, but if I needed anything he and his staff were there. Very rare that you find a doctor like this, not to mention an office staff.

Dr. Metheny and his staff are exceptional. They are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I was impressed by the service provided both at his practice office and the staff present during my shoulder surgery. Dr. Metheny took the time to discuss the procedure and address any of my questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Metheny and his staff to anyone looking for a truly professional surgeon and staff in an exceptionally sterile environment. Great job!!!

I had a serious complication from surgical anesthesia. Dr. Metheny spent an inordinate amount of time during my follow up appointments and made sure that my disability paperwork was completed on time so that we were not dealing with financial crisis too. He has a warm heart and is a very caring physician for patients who want to get well and participate in PT etc..
