I can't say enough about Dr. Parsons and the entire staff at The Knee, Hip and Shoulder Center. Dr. Parsons goes through everything with you so you know exactly what's happening. The whole staff is caring and very thorough! If you have an orthopedic issue, this is the place you should go!!

After having shoulder surgery at Mass General, I needed to have my bicep tendon released as the ends were frayed and were causing pain. Dr. Parsons did not listen to anything I had to say. He said he thought it was my rotator cuff and gave me an injection. It did nothing. After that he looked at the MGH MRI and said I needed to have the arthritis removed from my AC joint. I reminded him of what I had told him during my appointment, it had already been done. So he wanted another MRI. So I wasn't surprised to hear back that my bicep tendon had tears in it. Unbelievable! But he would not surgically release the tendon as Dr. Zarins had recommended at Mass General. I received an ultrasound steroid injection which gave limited relief for a few weeks. The pain continued to worsen until I returned to Dr. Zarins and had the release. I've finally gotten relief and proper treatment. I can honestly say this was one of the worst physicians I have ever had to deal with. He did not listen at all and then did not properly treat the problem.

Dr. Parsons is now partnered with Dr. King in Portsmouth. I called for appt. with Dr. King and Dr. Parsons took the call. I have seen him twice and found him very attentive and caring. Seems to think my pain is coming from my back, traveling to my knee. He has sent me for MRI and is sending me to a spine specialist . He took the time and listened. Rare nowadays for doctors. A+ for Dr. Parsons.

Dr. Moby Parsons, he is EXCELLENT, very caring and helpful. He performed a reverse Shoulder replacement for me 3 years ago. I have been very pleased with my "NEW SHOULDER".
My PT was done at Seacoast Orthopedics by John, who was also very knowledgeable and made my recovery go smoothly. THANK YOU!!! Ken Burt, Ctr. Barnstead, NH

Moby is top notch. I had a ream & run shoulder replacement on right shoulder 3 years ago. Followed up w/ left shoulder last month. Rehab is going well and I feel like I am ahead of schedule vs. where I was on the right shoulder previously. Best way to describe him is cool & collected. Puts patients at ease w/ his confidence. I could have gone to Beantown for my shoulders but being in my early 50s, I didn't want to give up activities that I love to do w/ a full shoulder (since none do the procedure I had). I couldn't throw a baseball for several years prior to surgery. Now I can. And he is very quick to respond to any question I ever had. Thumbs up.

Excellent Doctor! Had a complete shoulder replacement performed by Dr. Parsons. I highly recommend Dr. Parsons if you are considering any shoulder surgery. I considered 4 orthopedic surgeons before having my replacement done by Dr. Parsons. His approach to surgery, preparation thru rehab and follow-up visits has been a very positive experience. After my surgery and going home I was having a bad reaction to my medication. I emailed him and 15 min. later he prescribed a different medication. Five months after surgery I have better range of motion, returned to my normal activities, and my shoulder feels like its gliding on a high precision ball bearing.
