I did a walk in. Don't think I had time to get my tablet out, before I was called back to see the Doctor. Dr. Raglan is very thorough with his examination s and test. So I was very pleased. I didn't want all the test, but they were necessary. Thank you Dr. Raglan.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ragland since he started practicing in Jonesboro. He is absolutely the best family practice doctor there is! He takes time to evaluate each situation in order to give the best care. In fact, he helped save my son’s life when he saw him for what we thought was possibly a pulled muscle. Upon examining my son, Dr. Ragland detected chest congestion and called for a chest x-ray which showed serious issues. He ordered an immediate catscan which showed a mass. We saw Dr. Ragland at 4:00 that afternoon and by 10:00 that evening he had made plans for my son to be admitted to St. Jude for treatment. My son is alive because of Dr. Ragland’s skill and careful evaluation of my son. He truly cares for his patients!

We moved to Jonesboro several years ago. My husband and I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Ragland. We found him to be kind, caring, compassionate, and a wonderful doctor. He answeres all of our questions and will refer you to a specialist, if there is a need. His staff and nurses have always been very helpful. We love the walk in
appointments offered on several days from 7am to 8am. Dr Ragland is a huge asset to Jonesboro. We highly recommend Dr. Ragland!

I saw Dr. Ragland for 20+ years. I had faith in him. I liked him as a friend and fellow co- worker in the past. I always found his staff possibly "hello" friendly. Most time they were rude when asked to do anything other than stay behind the desk. Also a doctor with his patient number needs a higher educated nurse. Being a nurse myself, I found myself often having to go out of my way to explain myself to them in a less than professional way as to what I meant. An actual educated APN would have saved me a lot of repeat visits. This led often to not dealing with problems at hand. Because of this I often left with a list of specialists to see and tests to have after a 15 minute talk. His hands on treament is poor, as if he afraid of germs. He is a farm out, spread the dollar doctor, costing you money, time and personal concern for your wellbeing. I personally have seen several of the same specialist under his supervision that told me the visit was not necessary, was nothing in their field causing my problems and they found nothing to be concerned about. This is good news, but not when you have done it time and time again. I especially became less faithful in his attention when his nurses were the ones handling my problems, like over the phone. I often heard them violate hippa rules by calling out names and giving there personal opinion about a person and medical info broadcasted throug the office for all to hear. He often left my room to go back to another patient because he had not finished the care of the previous patient he had just seen, leaving him confused about my care when he arrived back and would try to cut my visit short. I would evidentually leave with regular meds that he did not check to see if I could decrease or eliminate. I personally led him through where and what was causing my pain and he ordered test I had had on many occasions. Test that could not evaluate my complaints. I needed a hand on evaluation of more than 5 seconds. He sent me to an ear , nose and throat Dr, who told me he had nothing to do for me. I had no problem he was required for at the time and possibly never would need to see me about it. I was angry at the run around. I called him on it and he no longer wanted to see me. Now a doctor has listened. No major tests or more expensive trips to the buddy system of doctors, instead, a medicine to control and heal the inflamation has give me relief with the same description given to them as Dr Ragland. No extra tests, cost or specialist. It was just a doctor listening and checking the patient out. My faith has been lost in his personal as well as professional ability. I suffered for years, when if he had used commom doctor practice instead of assuming and ordering test and referrals, I might have had 20 years less pain.

Dr. Ragland is one of the most friendly Doctor I have ever had as a family doctor. He is always consider and very knowledgeable of what is wrong with me, if he don't know for sure what is wrong. He will send you to someone in the field so we can find out what is wrong. I would recommend Doctor Ragland to any body.
