Save yourself the time and go see another doctor. my primary doctor referred me to him and After waiting the first time for over half an hour in extreme pain, he decided to take me off my normal medication and put me on something that did not work in the past and said he wanted surgery. the second visit i waited over an hour and gave me a crap excuse as to why it took so long when i could hear him talking to his staff about his upcoming trip to florida. when we talked he seemed to forget who i even was and when i voiced my frustration he just rolled his eyes at me and made me feel like I was wasting his time. Now he refuses to give me the ONLY medication that works for my back unless I do a surgery. SCREW THIS DOCTOR!! I already told my primary doctor I was so upset that he referred me to him that I almost left him too. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!

Dr.Schiffman's staff seemed ok. However, Dr.Schiffman changed his diagnosis regarding my neck, after I had gone to another doctor for a second opinion. He seemed to be more in the business of trying to make more money than actually caring about me as a patient. His diagnosis was was so radical from the other doctor, I was asked where did I hear of him and where does he practice. Long story short, I never felt comfortable and knew it was time to leave when he began calling me dude out of frustration when I questioned specifics. Stay away from this one. trust me...

I am seeing Dr, Schiffman currently to decide on a course of treatment for multiple issues, knee damage, shoulder replacement, neck and back injuries; he and his staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and concerned. I am looking forward to working with him through this process.

The lady sitting at the window SHOULD NOT be dealing with the public. I was NEVER seen on time, once sitting for over an hour. Why schedule an appt.? The office staff DO NOT help one another and don't attempt to hide the fact they feel put out by being asked questions between one another. The doctor himself offers NO bedside manner and could hardly remember my name let alone my situation. The only people that make this office pleasant are Jim and Deborah. I have to agree with another reviewer, it is ALL about the money with this man.

When I go to see a doctor, I don't want to see his assitant..a PA. When problems persisted the PA said all the pleasantries but I found out latter from a better Orthopedist he didn't know anything.....anything to make money should be Dr Schiffmans motto

Dr. Schiffman ****ed my back. When I was first referred to him, he immediately recommended surgery. After that, I only saw his PA until surgery. The operation was a travesty. I got an infection and my spine was destabilized. I got two second opinions and both told me that I hadn't even needed surgery in the first place. I had to have an extensive second surgery to fix the problems caused by Dr. Schiffman. Beware. Schiffman is a bad surgeon who operates for money, not for care.
