I had knee surgery about 10 years ago and have had lots of problems with my knee recently. Dr. Metros's name was given to me to get his opinion. He told me the only option I had now was to have a knee replacement, so I knew I had to get a second opinion. I am having surgery tomorrow with another Dr. on a torn miniscus. He said it will be about a 20 minute surgery and was very disheartened to hear another surgeon recommended a replacement. I would never trust Dr. Metros. I also heard from another Dr. that Metros performs alot of unnessary surgeries.

Great doctor, knows what he's talking about. Wait time in the office could be improved significantly, but I'm glad he's my doctor and would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Metros is not a skilled surgeon. He replaced my hip and I have had nothing but pain and discomfort since the surgery 3 years ago. After the surgery was finished, he had no follow up and did not care at all that he gave me permanant nerve damage. I am still in pain and am unable to do normal daily activities. I urge you not to use this Dr. for anything at all.

With the injury I had I can't believe how well Dr Metros fixed everything, i'm recovering very well and under the expectations he gave me. I definitely recommend Dr. Metros!

Dr. Metros is very knowledgeable and helpful. He will go out of the typical box of thinking to find a solution to your problem. He is also very polite and truly cares about you. I have seen Dr. Metros for many, many years and I not only consider him an awesome doctor but, a friend.

Dr. Metros is Rude, didn't even discuss options before deciding to do surgery. Very little follow up care. I've gone to Schiffmann who has been wonderful and actually went through my options. Metros' staff laughed at a patient who left the office because they had waited for 2 hours and hadn't been seen. I was also charged $20 for them to make a 1 page copy of my surgery report in order to go see another dr, since they wouldn't help me. I told my primary that I would NEVER go to him again, and that I was disappointed that they referred anyone to him.

Dr. Metros is an angel. If I had two more hips I would happily have him replace them!

The service I received for my hip surgery was mediocre and impersonal. I was in the hospital days beyond what was expected. At times his “daily” checkups came at odd hours of the night. The follow up was also poor & healed poorly. He gave me false expectations & I would not recommend him.

Dr Metros is negligent and does not give a darn about his patients. His uncaring could have cost my husband his life or a limb. If not for our family doctor taking over we would have been in big trouble. We turned him in to the state.
