I have been to many dentists over the years, and I had always trusted their plans of care (I'm no expert on teeth, and I had insurance so it wasn't costing me anything). Every year it seemed as though my dentist would just maximize the amount he could bill - I seemed to have multiple cavities at every single visit despite my impeccable oral hygiene and no complaints of discomfort). So I switched dentists, based on rave reviews from another patient. Dr. Loomis is the best kind of dentist - a professional. He's kind, knowledgeable, and honest. The staff are also very sweet and always friendly. Definitely worth the drive to Cayuga!

Dr. Loomis is one of the best dentists there is out there. After seeing a variety of dentists and their office dynamics thoughout the years as a Dental Assistant, I can say he is one of the best around. He is very fair with his pricing and never encourages procedures on his clients that are not needed. He is very rationale, extremely smart and approachable. I have never felt more comfortable going to the dentist than I do when I go to visit him. I would strongly recommend him to any person who asked. Everyone is going to have days when they are off or running that, but that is no reason to focus only on that and consider him a bad dentist. He is amazing at what he does and ALWAYS puts the client and his staff first. Such a great office thanks to Dr. Loomis and all his fun, energetic and caring staff members!

when I went to this office he was never on time for appointments, staff continually phoning the day before to change appointment time,moved and had to changed dentists and am now finding out the incompetance of his care. Glad I moved.

I have been going to Dr. Loomis for many years. Dr. Loomis is a kind and gentle man. My children love to go and see him for their dental work and have never appeared unhappy or afraid of any proceedure. I have always been charged fairly and Dr. Loomis never tries to do extra work for extra money. I would recommend this dentist to anyone that wants a fair and kind man.

Perfectly fitting fillings every time. Worth the extra drive. All around smart, nice guy. Glad the other Doctor retired, his nickname was the nasty **** at our house. Dr. Scott is awesome

He was fairly knowledgable but both he and his staff were unfriendly and not very approacable. He was late for my appointment by 37 minutes and seemed like he couldn't wait to be finished with me. Maybe he had somewhere better to go? I would NOT reccomend this guy to anyone.

The doctor does talk alot but was not able to actually answer my questions regarding the treatment he suggested. Office staff unorganized, and equally incompetent. I would NOT recommend

Very intelligent and knowledgable dentist in an inconvenient office with a curt and dismissive staff who doesn't mind making you wait and thinks his eloquence will make up for the rip off prices he charges. He's wrong! He's a Schmuck! I would not recommend him to anyone I cared for.
