Dr Spencer is the most thorough, kind and quick-rhinking OBGYN I've ever had. High risk, prenatal care, routine care ... he is the best of the best! His front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired but once you get past her harsh comments, he is worth it!

I had Dr. Spencer with my first child. A Misogynist at heart. He let my husband check me out during exams without my say-so. I begged him for no episiomoty if he could help it, so instead of letting the baby sit there like my subsequent midwife did, he gave me a double one because he wanted to make his trip (it was Labor Day). During delivery he didn't say one word to me, instead he sat and gossiped about another ObGyn. After it was done, he stitched me up without anesthesia and have me an unasked for "courtesy stitch". When after four months of traumatic intercourse, I went back to see what was wrongg and he said " oh, I thought you wanted that. " and yanked on my skin so hard I screamed.

If you want to feel like a birth-rape survivor, by all means, see Dr. Spencer.

I had a unique pregnancy, and a difficult delivery, and I was truly in the best hands. At the first sign of pre-term labor, he saw me every week to make sure everything was okay. He was very accommodating, letting me go a week over due because I wanted to go into labor naturally. I didn't find this out until later, but he stayed at the hospital my entire 12-hour labor because he was worried about me. He stood in my room for an hour watching the baby's heartbeat, and when his concerns were validated by an inconsistent, stressed heartbeat he performed an emergency C-section which was the right call. After delivery, he visited my room at 6am sharp every day, and his staff went out of their way to help me clear up billing issues caused by the hospital. He and his staff are top notch!! You know a doctor is good when the nurses can't say enough good about him.

Have had 2 of my 3 kids with him. He's been wonderful. Takes my concerns seriously, available in case of emergencies and Very supportive of my individual birth plan. His staff is also very caring and helpful and really got to know me. He does run a busy office but he manages to balance his schedule we'll so I never feel like he's in a rush when talking to me, yet I've never had to wait very long when I see him. Would recommend him to anyone!

Worst Dr. ever! Never listened to my concerns and it later resulted in a horrible delivery and long recovery that should have been easily prevented had he listed to me months in advance.

I loved Dr Spencer. He has delivered 5 of my 6 kids. The only thing that I wish was different was that he had delivered my first child. I would not see any other Dr. My husband also liked him. He took the time to not only answer my questions but took the time to include my husband in the visit. Go to him and you will never be sorry.

I love Dr Spencer I changed to him at 36 weeks at the recommendation of 2 labor and delivery nurses. I had a higher risk pregnancy and my prior doctor scared me to death I left her office crying every time. Dr Spencer was amazing he took the time to talk with me through all of my concerns and made me feel a lot more comfortable going into my delivery. I have delivered two children with him wonderful experience.

Excellent doctor! Friendly, smart, and very knowledgeable. He does an ultrasound every appointment up to 24 weeks and even gives you a print out. He is readily available in case of an emergency, I went in twice for emergencies and his office was very helpful. He unfortunately was unable to deliver my baby because he was out of town, but he was in frequent contact and has excellent on-call doctors.

I like Dr. Spencer. He is a very good guy. One of the things I like about him is he does not act like he knows everything, and listens to your concerns. He always gives you ultrasounds, and does extra things to make sure everything looks good. He is a smart and friendly doctor, and I am sticking with him.
