Dr. Scharfenberger is ok but I have only had horrible frustration with the staff in his office. My most recent experience I tried to schedule a 6 month follow up for a breast mammogram and the staff insisted that I was only supposed to have a 1 year follow up. I had to drive to the office with my prior report to PROVE to them that a new nodule had been found that required a 6 month follow up! Then, they insisted there were no doctors on staff to write the requisition...but that they would 'get back to me." I had to really persist that they get me the requisition and state how long before I would hear back from them. It was horrible and not the first time I have had to deal with this incompetent staff. I am switching to another Primary Physician as a result of being completely exasperated with them over a 4 year period.

Dr. Scharfenberger has kept my husband alive for the past 18 years. He is patient, kind and has never steered us wrong when having to refer us to specialists. We appreciate and feel fortunate to have him as our primary care doctor.

Dr.Scharfenber is the absolute best there is! He is caring and considerate and always shows true concern for whatever ails you. His knowledge is so vast that he amazes me with his spot on diagnosis's. I have seen him with some unusual ailments and he always knows what it is! The office staff is exceptional, always on top of their game and eager to help. If you need an appointment a billing issue or problems with a pharmacy, this staff is always friendly, efficient and eager to help! Dr. Scharfenberger has been my doctor for 20 years, there is no one better.

I absolutely adore Dr.Sharfenberger ! He is the best doctor I have ever been to. I would trust him with my life. He is always polite,professional,and compassionate he treats you like your his only patient he really listens and cares about your well being. I've been seeming him for over 10 years. I would recommend him highly. Dr.Sharfenberger is what all Doctors should be like.

My wife went in for an office visit complaining about neck pain. Dr. Scharfenberger took blood and must done quite a few tests because my bill for blood work was $1365.00. The office visit was $368.00, which included the follow up visit to explain the results. Her blood work was normal and the neck pain went away by itself 3 weeks later. We won't be back there. The $1733.00 we paid for that visit was enough to give me neck pain.

He is an excellent primary care doc but donna in his office is awful and rude enough to make me find someone new. Also they refer to the local er for minor things which seems to defeat the purpose of having a primary doctor. Anna and michelle are great, as is he if you can get in to actually see him. Do not even attempt to bother with donna as it is clear she hates all the patients that actually keep her employed.
