I am 75 and consider Dr. Picciano the best GP I ever had…..he was my Dr. for over 20 years. Always listened to my needs. I am extremely sad he retired.

Knowledgeable but doesn’t listen, will not tolerate complaints, close knit practice where all providers stick together, wait times are 1 hour to 2 hours to be seen. If you are a patient with multiple health issues or have psychological conditions he will likely terminate you as a patient, his main concern seems to be protecting himself, he will not get to know you, it is a meat market type practice.

He was my doctor for 10+ years. I had a worker's comp injury and he had me doing one thing for work and another away from work. He told me all along that he would back me when I was getting a lot of heat from work, but in the end he "stabbed" me in the back and turned on me, saying that I was not injured! But for 3+ months that he saw me, he collected the worker's comp monies! Very deceiving individual and will lie to protect himself!

Took time to understand the issue, asked friendly questions and gave good advice. Also took time to inquire about my profession and engage in small talk. Over all, a good visit.

Didn't listen well, wouldn't get off the chair to come see what I was pointing at on my hand. Forgot to do a requested tetanus, resulting in a return visit with another co-pay.

Dr. Picciano is disrepsectful, and self centered. He claims to be patient oriented when attempting to gain new patients, however, he is unwilling to listen to patient concerns, is condescending and doesn't return phone calls, unless it's convenient for him to do so. He appears to set aside the hypocratic oath for shear hypocrisy.
