The worst experience I have ever had with this dr. He needs to go back to medical School and learn more. Unfortunatly I was under his care for my entire pregnancy. Every month he used to tell me that every thing is ok and normal. I couldn't ask him any question, one time when I did, he told me to stop reading the books. He has unacceptable bed side manner. When I was on my labor, I asked him "what happens if I don't do the c-section?" he replied "Don't ever ask that kind of question to a Dr" even in last minute he was rude. I gave birth to a boy with Down Syndrome, which was shocking, terrifing, unexpecting news for me. The day after I gave birth Dr Ralph came to my room, and I could see the guilt on his face. Since I was in tears and pain, he couldn't come up with any thing, he told me a mean comment, "Your baby is not at ICU, so you shouldn't worry" Even if he dosen't have a heart, he shouldn't tell me that. I am very concerned about the rest of patients.

I'm sorry that others had such a bad experience with him. He's been my GYN/OB for 10 yrs. He's stoic, but when my feet are up in stirrups that's what I want. I have had several complications and Dr. Ralph was finally the doctor that I found to be direct and precise without fluff or hand holding. I always felt judged or mothered by other doctors. I almost had to have surgery and he took the time to run tests, ultrasound, to rule out another surgery. He will not sugarcoat or try to make you feel better, he will tell you your bottom line and he will do all he can to prevent it. He's very matter of fact and a non alarmist, so he doesn't worry if its not warranted. I love his staff, they are very nice, friendly and honest. I was finally blessed with my first, and Dr. Ralph delivered my baby. The hospital nurses freaked me out, but Dr. Ralph reassured me that everything was fine, and had a take charge attitude with them. I'm on my second preg. and I wouldn't want it with any other dr.

Dr. Ralph was very rude from my first appt. The staff never smiled nor were they friendly. The ultrasound tech seemed like she didn't want to be bothered. Early in my pregnancy when the couldn't find the baby on the sonogram, Dr. Ralph said we should consider DNC. It turned out that they couldn't find the baby because I wasn't as far along as he said. From the the beginning I told him I was not as far along but he refused to acknowledge that I knew my own body. The last straw was when I was 5 months & fell. I was concerned & went to the hospital to make sure everything was alright. When I told Dr. Ralph, he scolded me like a child for (1) not calling his office first so they could tell me what to do, (2) not going to HIS hospital even though its not the closest to my house & (3) for letting the hospital do an ultrasound because he may not get paid for doing his. If you want your pregnancy to be a joyous experience, DO NOT GO TO DR. RALPH' OFFICE.

Went to Dr. Ralph for my first pregnancy, was induced and didnt understand why. No emotional support, staff COLD. For my 2nd pregnancy, went to midwife for that tenderness a woman deserves when delivering a human being and not to be treated like an appt.

I would NOT recommend this Dr. to any one. Yes my baby was delivered healthy and fine but my overall experience was horrible. Number one this doctor has zero bedside manor. He would often answer my questions with an attitude that would make me feel stupid. When I had a complication and was told to come to the office immediately- rather then the hospital- I was left sitting in the waiting room. I was visibly upset and the nurse could barely bother to give me a tissue. I was induced and the induction failed- he was pushing me to have a c section which I CLEARLY stated from the start that I did NOT want. When the baby was delivered he made a rude comment about how I could have saved everyone some time and had the c section. Then made a rude comment on the shape of my baby's head. The real topper was that he did a HORRIBLE job on the circumcision and I had to pay for it. I just had to have it re done at my own expense. Do you self a favor and keep looking for a different dr.

Dr. Ralph doesn't spend average time with patients. He doesn't expect questions from the patients, always in hurry, which makes you stressed out. If you tell hime about a pain that you experience, he doesn't take it serious, and says it is just digestion. I would rate him below 0 but there is no option for that.

I went in to have testing done because I was experiencing symptoms of a minor infection. (sorry for the graphic explaination) Normally, a swab test should be performed. I was taken to a back room, given a vaginal ultrasound(I was wondering why), and then waited for the next 30 minutes. I was called into his office & told my ovaries were fine. When I explained that I was not there for an ultrasound or problems with my ovaries, he told me he didn't know why I got it, that if I knew I wasn't supposed to have it I should have said something, that due to insurance policies he could not see me today(unheard of), and that I should just come back at a later date. No one could tell me why I had the ultrasound done. After I complained to the front desk(who sememed to think it was funny) they miraculously convinced him to see me that day. I REFUSED. So basically I left unexamined and untreated. On another visit I could hear staff loundly discussing the sensitive diagnosis of another patient.>:[
