I have been going to see Dr. Greenberg on and off for about 15 yrs. I am so surprised by the negative reviews of him and his staff. I have been seen at both his Livermore and his San Ramon locations and have found that his staff is very efficient as both his locations tend to be extremely busy. I have never felt that the staff or Dr. Greenberg or his medical assistants have rushed me through my appoinments. Please give them a break and another chance! Mischelle K Briard

I have a different point of view from the rest of these reviews. I have found Dr. Greenberg to be very direct yes, but I appreciate it. He tells you exactly what's wrong and offers the best treatment. I actually find his demeanor funny. There are so many "cosmetic" Dermatologists out there that don't know how to treat serious dermatological conditions but Dr. Greenberg can handle it all. He can handle the chronic skin conditions as well as cosmetic issues. Keep up the good work Dr. Greenberg!

Went to him for a routine skin cancer check (first visit). The "exam" lasted about a minute with 2 squirts of LN on my head. He paid little attention to what later turned out to be a potential skin cancer. Not a look below my waist. He was impatient and didn't remotely satisfy my need for a full body observation. I had the feeling that he was pressed for time. The staff was all business. Needless to say, once was enough.... it was time to look elsewhere.

Dr. Greenberg is the epitomy of rude, abrasive, alarmist, uncaring and unattractive, socially and professionally ungracious, prone to intimidation and degradation. This surveys requests whether the Dr is knowledgeable or not. I doubt it highly, but who really cares because there are plenty of other options. As a side note his abrasive diagnoses were unilaterally overriden by 2 other prominent dermotologist. My adive AVOID AT ALL COSTS, or take hidden camera and record something will not believe.

His bedside manner is very coarse, used a profanity word in my office visit. His staff especially receptionists are equally abrasive and rude. They never greet nor smile at you, stare at you, talk to you in an abrasive manner with an attitude they are doing you a favor for giving them your business. I was seeking uv treatments from them and switched Drs because of his staff unprofessional manner. The female Dermatologist at his office is professional, friendly and very helpful, but she alone doesnt make up for his and his office staff rude and extremely unfriendly attitudes. They even made fun of her handwriting in front of me.

Not surprised to read the other unhappy ratings of him. his bedside manner is appalling. My daughter went to him once (one too many visits for her). He did not even look her in the eye, introduce himself...nothing. He briefly glanced at her face and whipped up a prescription. He made no mention regarding her condition. Another person mentioned his bad reputation and I agree. I know many people who would not step foot in that office.

The worst bedside manner ever. Didn't even say hello when he came into the exam room. Did a poor job of removing some cancerous skin. Has a bad reputation in this town.

I went to him for removal of a mole and he made very disparaging comments about my health insurance (HealthNet), complaining about their rate of compensation. His office seems more interested in selling expensive skin care products than providing standard dermatology care.

He was more interested in selling skin care products than listening to my skin problems. He did minor surgery on me and failed to remove a pieve of suture which caused an abscess. He dismissed all my complaints about it. After 10 months of pain the suture (which I have ) worked itself out.
