New to the area and Dr. Smith was a pleasant surprise. He spent a lot of time with me on my migraines and because I had not visited a Dr. in a long time I had a check list of other things I wanted to inform him of and he addressed everyone of them with me. He also did not look at me like I was insane when I told him I prefer alternative meds before western meds. He was the 1st dr to really make sure I was ok, sent me to MRI, cardio gram tests and I really feel I have a thorough exam without worry of what it costs. We need more docs like this on our side.

Dr. Smith is the best GP I have had. He is always punctual, never in a rush and gives me as much time as I need. He is also very proactive in how he treats you which is antithetical to western medicine. I have been seeing him for 5 years and remembers our conversations regardless of how much time has passed between visits. I feel like he puts my health first above everything else. My wife and I love him.

Dr. Smith was very insightful and really took the time to listen to my concerns and symptoms. For the first time in a long time, I felt like a doctor actually cared about my situation and didn't just rush me out the door with a prescription for antibiotics. I was referred to him by my brother and I have now referred others friends/family to his office. It's best to be well and not need a doctor's office visit. But if you are sick, I would strongly recommend Dr. Smith.

If this is the Doctor that my 8 year saw at the CMH Urgent Care clinic in oxnard. He is a very rude not polite doctor. He was annoyed by my son because he was asking questions and he felt like my son was fooling around. He got so upset that he walked out on us and slam the door shut. In a very rude way. Im not sure if he even diagnose my son right because he was so in a bad mood. I will never go see this doctor again.

We saw Dr. Sally & Dr. Dean as staff pediatricians at the hospital. At our follow-up appointment Dr. Smith's receptionist presented us with a binding arbitration form (gives up patients right to a trial). I knew that these forms are bad business, "neutral" arbitrators have a terrible record of fairness. The receptionist told us we could not see the doctor without signing the form. We asked to see the doctor in the waiting room to discuss the form. The receptionist told us the doctor would see us after the next patient. We waited 1/2 hour and 3 more patients were called. We asked the receptionist when we would see the doctor. She said we had misunderstood her and we would have to wait til after the last patient of the day (3hr wait). Dr. Smith later apologized for the receptionist. Further checking with the Medical Malpractice Insurance company confirmed that this form is not required for Dr.'s Smith. The Smiths have decided to continue to require it for care. Patients beware.

I have been going to Dr. Smith for two years. He is mid-west trained (the best) and you will never feel as though you are being hurried while in his office. He is a great doctor and his staff is fantastic.
