Abrupt and haughty and in a hurry. My eye exam felt rushed; and after sepending over $400 just for new lenses, no frames, my vision doesn't seem to be a bit improved. She said I'd need cataract surgery in about six months. I've made an appointment to get a second opinion; and when I went to Dr. Abedi's office to get a copy of my records, I was told I'd have to pay $35 on the spot in order to get them - about six to eight pages of information. When I informed the people for my new appointment, they were absolutely incredulous. I've contacted the California Medical Board and am waiting for a call back. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Parastou Abedi is extremely professional. She is open to answering all questions and actually takes the time to make you feel comfortable. It is always a great experience visting her office. Jacquelyn Roberson Jackson

I don't understand the negative ratings. I went to Dr. Abedi to repair a minor eyelid surgery screwed up by another opthamologist. I have continued to see her for the past 3 years. I have had many opthamologists in my life (eye problems since age 3 and I am now 61) and she is the best. She knowledgeable, compassionate, friendly and has a GREAT sense of humor. I have referred no less than 10 co-workers and friends to her and they all feel the same as I do. I guess there is no pleasing some people regardless of what happens, they remain miserable. Continue as you are Dr. Abedi, I wouldn't change a thing about you.

I wnet to her offive two times and I did't have any problem after that. her behaviour was very good and did a really grat job. I can see very good now.

Please save yourself and don't bother with this young arrogant inexperienced woman...she's far from being truthful and helpful...she overcharges every patient and if it wasn't because of her mother reputation she would be looking for a job now!!

I just don't think her attitude for is right to be the health industry….Abedi is extremely stuck-up, and fool of herself and by far the most “all about me” type of person I’ve ever seen. As for her expertise, you’ll find her an average eye doctor who gets lots of mileage out of her mothers name and practice. She need sot seriously work on her attitude and come down of her high horses and meet the patients on earth…Suggestions: there are dime a dozen eye doctors around find a better one… or ask for her mother she’s more experienced and friendly.

Office staff made same day app. She solved my eye problem and adjusted my prescription so I can now see better. Isn't that what it's all about? Took my daughter back the next day for another great experience.

watch out for this one will overcharge and ask for more money after you pay your co/pay, eventhough your insurance co coveres everything, she will still ask for more money afterwards about $55. do not pay her, she is a ripoff.
