After being rebuked for following directions and having to fight for two days to renew a prescription I decided that was enough and have not gone back. He is always late for appointments, by half an hour to an hour. I once answered a question "6 times a day on average but sometimes 12" and he tore into me that an average was an average and it couldn't be both. He is dismissive of anything you say. All in all, don't bother with this one.

He is all of the worst stereotypes people apply to doctors. He is arrogant, rude and a very poor communicator. Over an hour late starting my appointment, and begins by telling me that it is my fault he does not have the records he needs. I don’t know if the rest of the practice is this bad, but I will never go back to anyplace where I have to put up with this self important prima donna.

I would suggest, as I did, that you select another doctor within this practice. I did not feel that Dr Schultz was interested in me as a patient. The practice is large and the patients are treated like numbers in the process. While they are the largest Gastro practice in Annapolis, the doctors may not necessarily be the best. Select your doctor wisely.

Got appointment very quickly-now I know why. He was very rude and arrogant. He was not concerned about the strong pain I was in. Did not want to listen to any family history or even the other symptoms I had. Told me I couldn't have more than one thing wrong with me at a time. Had endoscopy out of desperation and gave me results while still under sedation. Barely spoke to my wife about procedure. Seemed to be in a big hurry when the office barely had any patients in it. We will not be going back again.

Schultz has been verbally abusive and purposefully insulting. This arrogant man knows nothing of several GI infections that are emerging epidemics now rampant in Maryland. Total waste of time, energy and money to "visit" Schultz if you're ill. Poor listener who doesn't even "practice" being decent. Unfortunately, I had to endure him more than once, but never again! NOT thorough. He repeatedly orders the same Rx drug therapies despite documentation that his Rx harmed me. Schultz scolded me for using a natural product that soothes and heals with no adverse side effects. He ignores the possibility that anything besides his endoscope could improve patient health. Schultz is completely oblivious to bartonellosis. Although I was quiet & polite (in terrible pain), he chose to examine me roughly, speak rudely, and literally laughed at the suggestion I could have an infection HE never heard of. Well, he's still in the dark, and I'm healing well AWAY from him. Seek help elsewhere!
