Dr. Haines has delivered both of my daughters. I already felt really lucky and in good hands on the first. After the second very relieved I had dr.haines! He knew something was wrong with the baby's heart (I believe) at the second to last appointment but didn't tell me and cause any panic that could do damage :). He waited until the following week when I saw him and sent me to a dr that just does ultrasounds. I was there for hours! In the end the dr. Thought 70% chance the baby had titrology of falo (spelling?!) where the valves at the top of the heart are in the wrong order and would need immediate surgery. So we went home and cried for the next 48 hours until we had nothing left. Meanwhile dr. Haines had scheduled a team of the right people to be there and induce me the next day. It. Was my other daughters birthday! We didn't even need to tell people who we were when checking in. I was in labor anyway and when she arrived had an irregular rhythm but no surgeries or medicine! Dr. Vernon is a great cardiologist too if you need one!

Dr. Haines was wonderful! Most of my appointments were on time or within the hour scheduled. Dr. Haines is very understanding, personable and really wanted pregnancy/birth to be my experience. I would and have recommended him to my friends. He and the staff made it a great process.

Dr. Haines delivered both of my kids-he is kind, smart and has a calm encouraging demeanor in the delivery room. I would use him again.

I had my baby delivered in 2008 by Dr Haines. I cannot forget his thorough knowledge, patience, empathy. He carefully listened and addressed all our questions. My case was complex with my type 2 diabetes and pre-term conditions. Dr Haines stopped the baby coming out in 7th month. He is very very knowledgeable in his stuff. We are very grateful to Dr Haines for his service.

so, i am updating my rating from be4 high risk over 35 and in my 8th month due to deliver next month.I have decided to stay with Dr Haines after much investigation and meet and greets with other Dr's. i am also an RN so i would catergorize myself as very "Demanding" and somewhat knowledgable about the field so therefore not an easy patient to have on board. Dr Haines has never rushed me out and answers all questions and concerns genuinely. He even shared with me at an appt his experience with a hip replacement surgery. He is Honest and truly caring. I have run into people from waitress at PF Changs to top execs at Microsoft wives... I feel very safe in his care and hopefully all will go well for my c section delivery...again i will update on this site periodically about my experience with this clinic. BTW the staff are courteous and helpful as well, which makes it easier to visit on a weekly basis...

I am currently pregnant and high risk as i am over 35 with some medical issues. I came to Dr. Haines on a recommendation and feel very happy so far with his demeanor and his calm and confident manner. I am planning my c-section with and i am quite confident i will stay with him through out the rest of my pregnancy. I will however update here if i choose to leave for any reason or feel less confident with the practice. I have only seen him once and am going for second appt end of April 09.So far so good!

Dr. Haines has a high reputation in Bellevue and has been practicing for many years. He is knowledgable, answers questions, is caring and his staff is great!

I love Dr. Haines!! Although he isn't my regular Ob-gyn; he was there when I went into labor and my obgyn wasn't available at that time. He has such a calm, reassuring voice; it can do wonders for you when you're in labor and panicking! He came in to check on me, told me exactly what was going on with me and how they planned to proceed with the delivery. I am very happy with my current obgyn (Dr lawler from the same practice), but I'd say Dr Haines is 'as good, just better' than Dr Lawler!! :) I believe he is the Chairperson of the Child birth center at Overlake hospital now; they couldn't have gone with a better or more experienced person!
