Dr Chong is an incredible doctor. Extremely knowledgable and so kind. I wouldn't go anywhere else she is simply the best!

I have recieved remarkable care and services from Dr. Chong. I have a couple of friends who also go to Dr. Chong and they have nothing but good things to say about her, and also love their results. She is extremely consistent in all of her work and very caring towards her patients. One procedure I've had done with Dr. Chong is my rhinoplasty. I had my nose broken in an accident and she repaired my nose WITHIN THE DAY of the accident, showing her extreme attentiveness and availability. She was also able to explain very clearly the process and everything I needed to know, as she had with other procedures I've had with her.

I was very displeased with her and the results of my surgery. I have two friends who have also had procedures done there, and have had to have them redone. She refused to accept responsibility, blamed her staff for poor notes (ridiculous) and became extremely defensive. I have since had the same surgery redone by another doctor, and couldn't be more happy the results. People make mistakes, not accepting responsibility and projecting blame on staff and (horrifically) the patient is totally unacceptable.

Dr. Chong has performed a number of cosmetic as well as reconstructive procedures on me over the years. I simply cannot rate her highly enough - she and her staff are the absolute best! She is highly skilled, knowledgeable, informative, kind and gentle. Dr. Chong's amazing surgical abilities have transformed and preserved my life. I would not go to anyone else - thank you for all you have done for me.

Dr. Chong is probably one of the best plastic surgeons in California. Her level of skill and caring is exemplary and her office facility and staff make every visit a soothing and worry-free experience. Prices and results couldn't be better.

We've seen Dr.Chong twice(1st time Mar'08,recommended by a family member; 2nd time May'11)& both times were for our 4 yr old who had open wounds on her face that required stitching. We would have gone to ER the 1st time in '08, but it made perfect sense to see a plastic surgent(PS)given that the wounds were on her face & we wanted to minimize the scaring.(can't guarantee a PS is on staff in ER).Both time took place after office hours, but Dr.Chong & her wonderful staff made themselves available to us nonetheless. We were most impressed with the way Dr. Chong & staff (esp."Leah")interacted w/ our child. They made her very comfortable in what should have been a very tense situation. Dr.Chong explained every step taken & even followed up after our visit to make sure we followed the post-op care. The scares now are barely visible. We can only imagine what she's like with more complicated procedures. Dr. Chong & staff were truly angels to our child. Her service was beyond our expectation.

This doctors incompetent staff scheduled my appointment on the wrong date and were unwilling to correct their error. I cancelled my appointment -- Her staff is horrible.

I love the Kaiser Permanente ad that features the song, “When I Grow Up”. It reminds me I need to be realistic about aging without taking measures to unrealistic extremes. You should know when to say when. Wanting to correct an inherited droopy eye condition while I was young enough to enjoy the results, I chose Dr. Lavinia Chong to perform my surgery. When I initially met her, she carefully explained the procedure and what to expect without making unrealistic promises. Her bedside manner and reassuring demeanor were very comforting. From my first visit to the post opt and then aftercare, she and her staff were incredible. I cannot remember any doctor who has made me feel so taken care of. Needless to say, I am tremendously happy with how I look! So, if you are planning to do any type of corrective surgery, I would unequivocally recommend that you choose Dr. Chong because I cannot imagine that there is a more caring, conscientious or professional surgeon out there to perform it.

My dog bit my ear off. It could have been catastrophic had Dr. Chong not reconstructed the ear so meticulously and so beautifully. Now some 10 years later I wear my hair back every day and you cannot tell. She had me come in two times and she herself washed my hair. She is an able, artistic and empathetic surgeon.
