Dr. Ota is a One of a kind Gyn. I have been seeing her for four years as a postmenopausal female in my 60's. She is smart, kind, considerate and concerned about my health. She is on top of everything that has come up and is so easy to talk to. As someone said, "like a friend".
She has always called me back when I have a question or problem. She has moved to a new location and has new staff so if you had a previous issue with the receptionist, that is no longer the case. I am so glad I tried a female Gyn after trying two other male doctors after my original Dr. retired. and most happy I found her from a referral from my general practioners' nurse. She unfortunately does not take insurance any longer but does accept Medicare and is worth whatever you may have to pay since you get what you pay for. I did receive a letter when she changed her policy alerting me to the change regarding insurance and her upcoming move closer to Sepulveda Blvd., rather than Reseda Blvd. She is such a nice person you will like having a female gyn.

Dr. Ota saw my 24 year old daughter for a few years until 2010. When my daughter kept having gynecological infections and Dr. Ota couldn't find the cause or help her, she got a second opinion. My daughter wanted to continue seeing Dr. Ota because she accepted her insurance. When she called Dr. Ota's office to schedule an appointment, my daughter was told she won't be seen there anymore. I called also and was told the same thing. There was no reason given, nothing in writing, and no referral to another doctor.

Dr. Ota is the best doctor!!! I love, love...her. Very knowledgeable and personable. But the staff is rude and the wait time is terrible. I am switching doctors for my second. Dr. Entin was okay...his bedside manner was not nearly as good as Dr. Ota.

Dr. Ota delivered both of my children. She was always smiling and never made me feel that she was in a rush to see someone else. I am sad that she is no longer delivering babies. Dr. Entin was great and I was sorr to see him retire. The office staff alway made me laugh and they made my monthly visits during my pregnancies enjoyable.

Dr. Ota herself is a very good doctor. She takes her time to answer my questions and explains everything thoroughly to my satisfaction. Her partner, Dr. Entin, with whom you will have to also see because you are rotated between the doctors and a nurse practioner, does not have a good bedside manner. Unfortunately, Dr. Ota's staff are very disorganized and not helpful. I called in to check on the results of a blood test and I was told everything's fine. I asked if that meant I didn't have to have an amnio, and the person told me, "I have no idea." Well, can I speak to a doctor then?? Then they messed up my blood work order sheet and by the time they figured it out, which was only after I called to check its status, it was too late for me to do the test. I had to schedule an amnio. Although I really like Dr. Ota, I'm wavering on changing doctors because I don't feel confident that the staff have their act together. What are they going to miss next??

There is no other Dr. like her. She was woderful from the begining. We were having trouble conceiving and she was able to help us. She delivered both of our girls and we absolutely love her. Can't say enough. She is very knowledgable, profesional and very caring. She helped us understand our problems when we were conceiving and kept us positive and optimistic through the whole process. There is no one like her. By the way her staff is excellent and if it takes a few months to get in to see her is totally worth it.

I made an appt 1-1/2 - 2 months in advance to see dr. ota - When I called to confirm my appointment the day before I was told that I needed to reschedule and that the earliest I could get in was now Feb. (3 month away) I was told they had tried to contact me, but didn't have a correct phone number on file for me, even though I had given my phone number at the time I made the appt. and updated my records last year. Not to mention they had my correct address on file and could have mailed me a note - Dr. Ota is great, but the office staff is definitely not a plus!! One other occassion when I had to speak with the office staff regarding billing they were extremely rude and unhelpful.

SIMPLY THE BEST OB/GYN THERE IS!!! I absolutely LOVE HER, and don't know one person that doesn't. I was 300+ lbs, 36 yrs old, had diabetes and several complications including two hospital stays while pregnant with my son. The care, attention, commitment and caring was STELLAR and I would have not received better medical attention anywhere else. Her partner, Dr. Entin is top notch, but you will LOVE her. She would never tell you, but she has delivered babies for several celebrities (who of course can afford to go to anyone they want) and they choose her as well. That should tell you how good she is. She does not take HMO. Only PPO or cash.

What a wonderful doctor. She delivered both of my children. I feel comfortable talking to her about anything. She is so warm and caring and really cares for you as an individual. She and Dr. Entin, with whom she works, are both top notch.
