My experience with Dr. Accurso was one in which he had to tell my father-in-law that he had colon cancer. The doctor took a great deal of time in explaining what he found and suggested various doctors to follow up. Perhaps those patients who feel they were rushed is because they were OK and that''s wonderful. People who complained about waiting time to get an appointment should realize that it is because the doctor is in high demand because of his reputation and performance. Do yourself and family a favor and consider him and his associates as your first choice. Just don''t get an appointment ahead of me.

i enjoyed being around Dr. Accurso he helped me understand and feel comfortable with my digestive problems.. i dont know how anyone can sit there and write those nasty things about an extrodinary doctor such as Dr. Accurso.. he is kind, genuine, and professional. He sat explained everything to me and really made me feel like no matter what i wasnt rushed and he was gunna answer all my questions for me. i love dr. accurso

It was hard for me to believe the other reviews because my experience with Dr Accurso was completly the opposite. He is one of the best doctors from whom I have ever received treatment. He is personable, explains everything and takes the time to talk to you. His office even provides literature explaining the procedures and conditions so that you can better understand the things that are being done. As a doctor he is one of the best in NJ in his field, that is why he is so busy. Despite his being busy, his staff regularly follows up with me to ensure that I receive properly scheduled exams. Since I have been going to Dr Accurso, I have had no physical problems related to gastric related problems.

He is very busy! He schedules a patient every 10 minutes! He was too quick and abrupt - basically scheduled tests and a procedure (which I was expecting) but did very little to explain things. Felt very rushed. The staff looked frazzled and unhappy but generally courteous. Would not recommend him, especially if you have a complicated digestive issue.
