I've been going to her for almost 3 years now. She is my doctor for gynecology and will stick with her when planning my pregnancy. She is always honest, extremely thorough in questioning my family history and own history, and is extremely knowledgeable in her field. She may seem like she's in a rush, but she still answers all of my questions and offers her own recommendations. I admire that she does not wear a doctor's labcoat. She wears her normal street clothes and doesnt make me feel like she's superior in any way. She is sanitary and completely professional. I recommend her to all of my friends.

Dr. Koopersmith has been my Dr. since I was 17, I am now 31. This woman is a phenomenal Dr. I was scheduled to have surgery to remove a cyst that did not need to be removed at all and Dr. Koopersmith (being my second opinion) caught it! Sure enough after taking her advice to just wait until I get my period, it was gone. Yes, she can appear to be rushed, but she has ALWAYS taken my questions and been very kind and ALWAYS respectful. My own mother was initially put off by her personality but as soon as she had a scare, she left her Dr. and came back to Dr. Koopersmith because she truley is the best. If you need the best possible Dr. in this field, then it's her. She won't cuddle you in her arms. But she is the best, just be thankful this woman decided to become a Dr. because she is honestly the best there is. Not to mention she gives out her cell phone on her office voice mail. This woman is a 24/7 brilliant Dr.

I'd hate for people pass this topnotch doctor by due to the negative reviews. Dr. Koopersmith is a smart, knowledgeable, well educated, compassionate doctor. I'd been to her office once before but had only seen the nurse practitioner. I came in on an acute basis to see Dr. Koopersmith, in great pain. She diagnosed an ovarian mass and told me I needed immediate surgery. Her concern for me was obvious. She connected me with an excellent surgeon, who then put me in touch with a wonderful oncologist when the mass turned out to be cancerous. I couldn't be happier with my medical team - it's superior all down the line. Dr. K is straightforward and to the point. I recommend her without reservation, and encourage you to decide for yourself.

I found her through her website and thought that going to her would be a good experience. I went there for a regular checkup and IUC checkup (it was placed by another physician) and I was not happy at all. I understand that PAPs cannot always be comfortable but never in my life have I had so much pain from one; she was too rough. I had pain a bleeding for days afterward. I was looking for a GYN that I would be able to talk to without judgment and that is all she did from the moment she came in the room. Judgment of my weight, my knowledge of my own medical issues, of my difficulty in exercising, etc. I was in the office in my gown that barely covered my butt and she judged me. She might be good at her trade but as the others said she is cold and needs to work on her bedside manner.

I went to Dr. Koopersmith for the first time and will NEVER go back again. She is very unfriendly and impatient. I asked one or two questions, but got the feeling that she was getting annoyed. I was too intimidated to ask anything else. I would NOT recommend her. As for the knowledgeable rating -- it's hard to say, because she didn't share any of her knowledge with me!

I went to Dr. Koopersmith about 3 years ago, had 2 iui's. It was the worst experience, she is rude, abrasive, rough in her exams, and doesn't have the time for her patients. After one iui (on a weekend) she had to leave and me and my husband in the clinic, alone! She said we could leave after 20 minutes and let ourselves out, no nurse, no one! Everytime I left her office I hurt from her us exams. This never happens with other doctors. The iui's didnt work, then she recommended we do ivf, so we went to HRC. NO way was I going to let her work on me when I was under. No way would I recommend her to anyone that I care about. We deserve to be treated fairly and with sensitivity, especially when undergoing something so difficult. My HRC doctor is amazing, knowledgeable, great manners, exams do not hurt, ever, and she has great results. it took me 2 years to get over Koopersmith and try again, I hope she realizes the pain she causes someday.

Dr. Koopersmith is very knowledgable but her manner is very cold, rushed and dismissive. She appears to be interesed only in the science of things and not people. She should work in a lab with little or no human contact. The office nurses are very nosy and gossipy and the place is a shabby wreck. I would not recommend.

staff was obnoxious, rude and abrupt. Dr. fixed my problem which I'm very greatful, but she is abrupt, cold and always in a rush. Get in, get out. If you're looking for second opinion, I recommend her, not the P.A. If you're looking for a compassionate doctor, look somewhere else.

I went to Koopersmith for my first ever pap smear. After in gown, I waited for 20 min, at which point a woman walked into the room looking as though she was ready for a dinner event. In her black pants and evening cardigan she said abruptly, “You must be so-and-so, hold on.” and continued speaking very loudly on her cell phone. She ended her call and without introduction, started asking me a lineup of questions. Assuming this was Koopersmith herself(it was) she proceeded with the exam. Overall, I had quite a few questions and concerns. She did not explain ANYTHING unless I asked her specifics, which seemed to irritate her. She was very rough during the exam, but at least she was quick. Did I mention she left the door open a couple inches while performing the exam! I was so embarrassed! EXTREMELY unprofessional. If you don’t have any sensitivities when dealing with your privacy, then Koopersmith is right for you. However, if you respect yourself & your body, I would look elsewhere.
