Dr. Jimerson delivered my son in 2001. I was not extremely happy with the care I received. He was not a warm physician. He was pretty much an in and out type of doctor. He would answer questions if you had them. I ended up having a C-section. He first wanted to induce and set it up for December 18th, but when I came to his office the day before, he informed me it probably wouldn't work. So, he set it up for December 26th, but my son was born on his own terms on December 24th. I think he's big on induction. He kept telling me my son was going to be very large. When he was born he was 7 pounds 11 ounces.

I was in school at the time without insurance, so I ended up getting on medicaid. I had few choices and decided on Jimerson, only on a whim. I loved him! His bedside manner was great, funny. I was very pleased up until the end of my pregnancy. He asked when I wanted to be induced, and I was not prepared for this question. I wanted to deliver when the baby was ready, not when the doc was. I told him I wasnt sure, and he said I could hold off, but then proceeded to let me know that "they fill up quick". Next visit, same thing. I finally gave in, pressured. My induction was started at 630 am. At 5 pm I was dialated to 9+ and 0 station, but (I think) because it was the day before a holiday, he pushed for a c/section. We didnt know much about the process and thought we didn't have a choice. He didnt even come in to tell me, the nurse did. I believe I was cut open, so that the doc could leave for his holiday. Uncool.
