Dr Kiaii is the very best. The words caring compassionate and brilliant are only the tip of the ice burg in describing him. If you need expert care he is your man. Nothing but the highest respect for him.

I can't say enough about Dr Kiaii and his team of Dr's and the nurses. They made me feel very comfortable with the surgery. He repaired my Mitral valve and a triple bypass. 7 months ago today and I feel great. He is very personable, very nice guy, and even has a sense of humor...lol. And no Doc, I haven't shoveled any snow or used a snow blower like you said. My wife does the shoveling, haha! Just a big THANKS to all at UH.

I can't say enough about Dr. Kiaii. He is not only an amazing surgeon but a wonderful person as well. I had minimally invasive open heart surgery to repair a severely damaged mitral valve in April 2013. I traveled from Vancouver, BC so that Dr. Kiaii could perform the surgery. No surgeon in BC could repair my severely damaged valve using the minimally invasive technique. Dr. Kiaii agreed to perform the surgery even though coming from Vancouver added more hurdles for him and the hospital. I am so grateful to Dr. Kiaii and highly recommend him to anyone facing this kind of surgery. Thank you so much Dr. Kiaii.

An absolutely amazing surgeon and person! Replaced my aortic and repaired my mitral valve. I feel fantastic. New found energy level. Could not be happier with him and his staff enough. Thanks to all of you and thanks for listening to me sing, In Dreams, by Roy Orbison....while I waited for the anaesthetic to take me to dream land at UH.

I had Mitral Valve Surgery performed by Dr Kiaii and his amazing staff Sept 22 2014. I cannot say enough great things about him and all the staff at London University. The nurses were amazing as well, and we could not believe how many people are involved in this type of surgery. As the saying goes 'it takes a village'. I will absolutely recommend Dr. Bob and I am very grateful.. Thankyou.

My Dad had a triple bypass and valve replacement. It was discovered my Dad was born with a bicuspid valve. The surgery went well but shortly after the right side of his heart went on strike as Dr. Kiaii explained to us. It was a long 8 days of unknowns wether my Dads heart would beat on its own again or if he would need a transplant. Dr. Kiaii made time for us and explained everything of what possible outcomes and options there were but above all he have us hope and comfort. My Dads heart started to beat on its own again and Dr. Kiaii checked on Dad all along right up till Dad came home. This man is a blessing to our family and to all the families he has touched with his God given gift of cardiac surgery and a compassionate soul. Robert Kiaii we can never thank you enough for the care you have given my Dad and many other families like us. God bless you and your family.

My name is Norm Atkins and Dr Kiaii was the head of my surgical team during my stay at LHSC. I had routine triple bypass surgery which went well but due to my eagerness I left the hospital to soon. Subsequently I developed a rather terrible infection which led to some radical chest surgery. Dr Kiaii saved my life twice, once with the bypass then my infection. Its hard to put into words how thankful I am to have had him as my Doc.Little things like taking me to the operating room or coming to see me before I was discharged really helped out a scared man. The level of care I received was unbelievable. My children have added Bob Kiaii as one of their heros,He gave me the chance to watch another hockey game or enjoy a hug. I hope he reads these every now and then so he realizes the amount of joy he brought me and the world.London is lucky to have such a great man

I had heart surgery on Dec 13 2012. I was really happy with Dr Kiaii!! He sat down with me a few times and explained what he was going to do. After surgery he went the extra mile. A few things he said, gave me a lot of peace prior to the surgery. I thank God for Dr. Bob Kiaii! Regards Henry V
