He listened to me, took a detailed history and examination, and quickly diagnosed my condition. I had to have a colonoscopy which confirmed everything. Now 2 weeks later I am back to work and feeling better than I have in about 2 years. His bedside manner is impeccable. His office staff is superb. I am really glad I met him. My husband, mother, two cousins, and my sister now see him.

Went to him for diarrhea, vomiting and severe pains in my abdomen. He did an upper endoscopy and a pelvic cat scan and on the follow up visit handed me a prescription for an antidepressant to minimize my symptoms and told me I'd have to learn to live with the pain. Refused to do a colonoscopy even though I have a strong family history of colon cancer. On the advice of my primary I sought a second opinion and after further testing was found to be suffering from ulcerative colitis. Had I listened to Dr. Nayar and "learned to live with the pain" I would have only gotten sicker. Thankfully I am now on the path back to good health.

I don't even know where to start. My first visit there I felt rushed and uncared for. He laid me on a table, pushed in a few spots, I said one spot was a little tender and he then told me I had fat deposits in my liver. BUT prescribed me acid reflux medicine: Dexilant. I was sick every morning on it, when I told him he told me he had to do an endoscopy b/c I could have several other things. He did the procedure w/o even really talking to me in the procedure room. Just put me to sleep, when I woke up he said I'll see you in 2 weeks and walked off. 2 weeks later he was 1hr late, I had to leave. The next week he canceled. The next week he was 1hr late again. I demanded he just call me with the results, which they said wasn't office procedure. He callsto tell me everything was normal. I said "What now?" He answered, "it's all in your head." Really? That was my answer after all this time? I took Pepto-Bismal, adjusted how I ate and prayed. It's all gone now =) but no thanks to this rude Dr.

This Dr. believes in curing via just medicine and not diet changes. Unfortunately most GI problems like mine need diet control. He was very unhelpful on figuring out what I should eat and what not. Certain foods make my condition worse and others help. However I got no help from this doctor in finding out what foods would work for me and what will not. He just wanted me to get surgery done or keep eating medicines which had awful side effects without controlling my diet. Would not recommend this doctor. He also seems to be very busy and you have to wait hours in his office nowadays.

Dr Devjit is very good. He was able to correctly diagnose my fissure very quickly and prescribed me the correct regimen to fix it (Thanks to webmd.com, one can see what makes sense and what not). I am glad I went to Dr Devjit after I had a very bad experience with another gastroentologist. Dr Devjit spent good 30-40 minutes with me answering all my questions and doing the quick examination for the correct diagnosis. He did not rush me into any suregery options as some other try to do to finance their lavish lifestyles. Instead Dr Devjit told me to use traditional conservative home treatment combined with some ointments. Best of all is that he spent enough time with me during the office visit and was not rushing through things. He is probably one of the best...

I have been using Dr. Nayar for about 2.5 years. From day one he has been knowledgeable and very helpful. He breaks down the anatomy for you in such simple terms that it makes it very easy to understand and very comforting to know what is actually wrong with you. He answers my calls or returns my calls promptly and is so helpful. I recommended him to 4 of my friends and they have had the same experience. He is great!
