I saw Dr. Fairbairn once and that was enough. The very first question the receptionist asked me was what was the pharmacy I dealt with? I said I don't take any medications, but she insisted I give a pharmacy name to even register with them. That set off alarm bells right away. I was referred because I had tingling in my hands and the referring doctor said it was neurological. I have no history of mental health issues, yet his first suggestion was to prescribe me Abilify. This is a mind altering drug that has law suits against it...wow! Totally unprofessional and irresponsible. Glad to hear he's retired...the public is better off without him.

Dr. Fairbairn is a sad, miserable, bigoted old fool who would greatly benefit from colonic irrigation and a few good slaps.

Although he is now retired I wanted to day I saw him for approximately 5 years and also about 10 years ago. I found him to be warm and non judgemental but he did not spend very long listening to me. He was more about the meds. Trying different things out. My new Dr. Spends even less time but found better meds that work.

Back in 2006 he prescribed me oxycontin for $10,000, this weirdo is nothing more than a high end drug dealer. Then he called the cops on me....danger....I can't believe he's even still alive. Evil takes care of evil. LOL....

Dr Fairbairne doesn't make sense half the time and when I try to understand he gets irritated and refuses to explain further. After almost a decade of being his patient and having relatively good insight into my condition he threatened to lock me up without expressing his concerns first. He brought up things that had nothing to do with my condition just to make me feel bad. I've suffered with my condition much more because of his stupidity. My family doctor refuses to refer me to someone else, claiming that he is one of the best. I think people are mistaking charm for virtue and intelligence. He graduated 61 years ago. He probably won't retire because he needs people to talk down to and control for his pathetic ego.

Dr. Fairbairn is a rude, arrogant, hypocritical bigot. 30 years ago he tortured me with mind altering medications and behaviour modification therapy. Dr. Fairbairn is a sad, poisonous troll who still believes that being homosexual is a form of mental illness. After my release from his "treatment" I learned that he was a drunk and a drug addict. Beware of Dr. Fairbairn!!!

Dr. Fairbairn is nothing more than a drug dealer. My first visit before knowing my problem said leave now if you will not take medication. If I wanted that I'll just smoke some crack. This is a person to avoid. He's not a certified psychiatrist..lost licence in Alberta...Google it.

I love Dr.Fairbairn, after several visits working on my suicide issue's he counseled me how to kill my self painlessly. After year's of mental pain I'm ready to disconnect. (That's what he calls "giving up") l love you Dr Fairbairn....Shelley.

Arogent, old world, over medicating and perhaps even dangerous. Be mindful of everything you say.
