Prior to surgery we confirmed Dr. Galansky and Urology Associates was in-network, post surgey we received a bill from a Ruben Spencer that was out of network. There is no mention of Ruben anywhere on the internet because he is, as Dr. Galansky's staff put it, his "own entity" or an independent contractor surgical assistant. This was never communicated to us prior to the surgery, be aware that Dr. Galansky will likely use a surgical assistant that is their "own entity" which I'm doubtful is covered by many insurance providers. Surgery went great but now having to deal with an out of network claim that we're still waiting 3 months post surgery to receive the bill from.

Dr. Galansky and his staff did anything they could
to get me in quickly for my first visit after a scary ER visit for a recurrent problem from childhood. That trend continued multiple times until the surgery I needed was completed. They have a very busy practice and always made me feel like a priority going out of their way to help me. Anytime I had questions, Dr. Galansky, his PA or his nurse responded the same day. My surgery was complicated and completed without any complications. I'm truly grateful for the care I received!

This doctor is amazing!! We first met him when our son was born with two conditions : hydronephrosis and hypospadias . He is very experienced, reassuring and immediately set us at ease. Our son required several surgeries and throughout, he was consistently available, explained everything very carefully and patiently and was sincerely concerned with our child's and our well-being. He was so good to us and our son has had an unbelievable outcome.
We would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

PA answered post-surgery questions directly rather than letting me speak to doctor. PA skillfully diverted conversation toward my father's military career and how my mother is doing, rather than address the question at hand.Doctor was assigned to case to flush my father's bladder due to clotting after a traumatic fall. PA acknowledged that doctor was aware that my father's PSA level was rising. She also stated that he didn't perform a biopsy because he didn't have the equipment in the O.R. All that was ordered was the flush. We question why he didn't bother to have the biopsy equipment on hand, knowing that there might be tumors that the oncologist would want confirmed. The oncologist told us that surgeons often mistake visual assessments for cancer, so they don't rely on them for diagnosis. Doctor emerged from surgery, told my mother and me that my father had "recurrent tumor" and "should not be on chemo." He then walked away quickly, and that was the last we saw of him.

Dr. Galansky messed up my vasectomy surgery and then played stupid in the follow-up exam. He sewed my vas tube to my scrotum when he closed the skin. He examined me post surgery and said "I don't know what that tube is". Surgeons love to throw around terms like "scar tissue" etc. but I felt the vas sewn into the skin within 5 days after the swelling went down. He actually expected me to believe this explanation. I saw another professional Urologist for a diagnosis and he confirmed my own diagnosis VERY easily. If Galansky would only have admitted to the mess up I could accept that. I know stuff happens. He did offer to operate again. No WAY! Galansky did sloppy surgery on me and worse than that he is full of pride. I Do not trust him.

Dr Galansky's practice performed 3 surgeries for kidney stones and complications. He personally performed the last surgery and then informed us he would not provide follow up care and we should seek help elsewhere to remove the stent that he placed. Had I known he would be so callous and indifferent we would have found a urologist who had our best interests in mind. I understand his peers rate him well so he must treat colleagues better than he treats the general public or the underinsured.
