I was at a follow up appointment at my doctors and I ask him if he knew of a podiatrist in the area. I had been seeing another one and he told me I had achilles tendinitis and he wanted to do surgery. NO WAY did I want surgery. He recommended Dr. Mozen who was just a few doors down from his office. On my way out, I stopped by to make an appointment with Dr. Mozen. His front staff was so compassionate about the pain I was in, after a very short wait, I saw Dr. Mozen! He said there were several options we had to relieve the pain and help the problem without surgery. I was so happy that the first thing out of this mouth was not "surgery"!! A few simple things like heel cups, night splint and a creme pain medicine help right away. I got my orthotics. Never had them before. Been wearing them for about 4 days now and they feel really good. I am so glad I went to see Dr. Mozen. I am not in tremendous pain anymore. His staff is wonderful too. Everyone is very knowledgeable. They even gave me a website where I can get sandals with the orthotic made right in them for the summer. Isn't that great!

Dr. Mozen is an outstanding physician. He's very good at what he does. The staff is pleasant and helpful and I am glad I chose to allow him to service myself and my family. I first met him over 10 yrs. ago when my son experienced ingrown toenails. After several visits, his problem was cured. A year and a half ago I found myself needing his services and didn't hesitate to call. I'm glad I did!!!

Dr. Mozen was very pleasant and took care of the problem at hand. I was referral by my primary care doctor, good choice. I have a broken toe and I am a Diabetic. He gave some
important information on caring for my foot. I will recommend him to other.

After experiencing horrible pain in my heel, I went to see Dr. Mozen at the referral of my primary care physician. He is AMAZING!! After several months of treatment and surgery in July, I already feel so much better. The pain is gone. I feel like I can walk like a normal person again! Thank you so much, Dr. Mozen. The staff is amazing. They all are very professional, and you can tell they love their job too by the way they go above and beyond to help you. They have a great sense of humor as well! Something I found to be very enjoyable and helped me to forget about the pain for a little while during my appointments. You cannot go wrong at this office. You can feel the love and the care they all give. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I’ve been a runner for the last 38 years and was experiencing toe pain (big toe) and chronic plantar fasciitis, all in the left foot. After months of injections we decided to treat the toe with surgery on the joint, and to attack the plantar fasciitis aggressively at the root of the problem; my very tight calf muscle. Dr. Mozen cleaned out bone spurs and arthritis from the joint of my big toe. He also performed a “gastric lengthening” procedure on my calf muscle to relieve the pull on my calf/achilles and foot, the cause of the plantar fasciitis. Both surgeries were done at the same time In November of 2012. I did go through a rehab period that included some discomfort, but was running by February 2013. It took until July/August 2013 before I really got back to 100%. In November 2013 I celebrated by running a half marathon. It’s been over a year now and I’m experiencing zero problems with either surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Mozen and his team of professionals at Michigan Podiatry.

I have never had such a pleasant experience in a physician's office! Everything went smoothly on my first visit, from the minute I called for an appointment (which I got the next day), to the time I walked out the door, with my procedure completed, my scripts called in, and my supplies in hand. Not only is Dr. Mozen a skilled physician (no pain!), he has a most pleasant and gregarious bedside manner, which put me completely at ease. I would not hesitate to refer family or friends to Dr. Mozen any time. I plan on returning for additional treatment, and I actually look forward to it!

Bottom line: I believe this doctor is all about the money - which is exactly what several other raters on this site have stated. Aggessively pushes costly orthotics and any other devices that can generate income. Patients are viewed solely as cash cows. Not interested in truly resolving patients' problems. His only concern appears to be revenue: in and out with extraordinary speed, followed by a whopper of a bill (much of it not covered by insurance). Technical support staff is fine, but his administrative staff is atrocious. Overall, a very disappointing and costly experience. Will not return.

I had bunion surgery plus hammer toes and toes that overlapped on both my left foot and my right foot. Dr. Mozen did the surgery expertly. He answered all my questions. He kept an eye on it that it was healing correctly. He was also highly recommended by dental receptionist that said after 40+ surgeries, it was one of her most successful ones. The staff is the greatest.

Dr. Mozen and his staff are very professional and helpful. They fully explained procedure for bunion echtomy and took great care of me. I have recommended Dr. Mozen to several friends. Great individual as well as the assistants in his office.
