My 11 yr old son has been seeing Dr. Parinello for 2 years and has made a dramatic improvement. I see his smile again and see the boy we lost for a couple of years while he was struggling and in a grey cloud. Dr. Parinello is open minded and listens to the patient (and parents in our case) to really get a good assessment of where his patient is in therapy.

Years ago Dr. Parinello treated me and both my twin sons. I found him to be very compassionate and spot-on with the diagnosis and drugs. I believe he is a psychopharmocologist or something like that. The visits were about 10-15 minutes long and I never felt rushed. I knew we were there for just the meds and we had therapists. I remember that Robin was his secretary - always so nice. Then he stopped taking insurance and I couldn't afford it anymore and had to go else where. Now it seems he is just for kids. I'm surprised to see he didn't have a higher rating. I thought he was really helpful, especially to my sons, who are now 20. (my one started seeing him when he was just 23 months old!)

Nice and easy to work with. Willing to try new/different medications if something is not working. Short sessions (approx 10 min). Smart from a pharmacologic standpoint, but not a therapist. Strictly a psych that prescribes/monitors medication. Does not take insurance.

Absolutely awful. His main concern was the billing. Missed potentially deadly adverse effects to a drug he prescribed.

Excellent. The only psychiatrist that ever helped me.

More interested in just prescribing medication and not much focus on therapy. Sessions lasted about 5-10 minutes - just a quick "how are things going?" and prescribe a refill.

He means well, but jumps to conclusions and stays stuck in his diagnosis. After a year of unsuccessful treatment for "depression," he realized he overlooked the fact that my symptoms were suggestive of a CNS infection.
