IVF is never an easy process, so it's always difficult to go to the appointments and feel upset and like you are broken for having to seek help. I'm 36 years old that thought I would never be able to get pregnant, but now I am! We are so thankful that we had Dr. Brown, who is smart, personable, and was always patiently answering all of our questions. The communication throughout the process is great, including a nice calendar with clear directions and amounts of medications all specified. Nurses were great, too. The other staff is a bit of a mixed bag, kind of depends on the day. But Dr. Brown and the nurses are top-notch and that's what really matters.

Dr Brown is one of my favorite infertility doctors of all time. I have been to all the other infertility doctors in our region and we had pregnancy success immediately. We are forever in his dept and simply love his staff. God Bless Dr Brown and what Brown Fertility does in helping families grow!!

A few things all patients should know before going to this clinic... 1. Dr. Brown does NOT do all the scans or procedures. He utilizes his nurses (who I did not feel are qualified) to determine important dates and they also do IUIs (not the Dr that you're paying thousands for). 2. Scheduling is a nightmare. Every single morning everything is overbooked and the waiting rooms are packed (so packed there's no place to sit). Which also turns into incredibly long wait times (I mean 2-3hrs sometimes to be seen for a quick, 5min scan). 3. Dr. Brown has every patient on the same exact schedule and protocol for IVF which is comical, as if all of our bodies are the exact same. Meaning all egg retrievals are done the same week and all transfers are done the same week. If something doesn't go as expected, he'll never suggest a new med or new protocol. He will simply just say "try it again." I read a review on here saying he had good bedside manner and I couldn't disagree more. With my first pregnancy after IVF, I waited over an hour to be seen for my first ultrasound. When there was no heartbeat he said, "Sorry guys, looks like it pooped out a week or so ago." Yes... That's literally the word he used. POOPED OUT. He wanted to see me a week later just to be sure. When I came back, we waited two hours to be taken into the exam room. We then waiting another 45min in the exam room before he came in. Dr. Brown acted as if he didn't just see me a week prior and talked like everything was fine and asked me the same Q's as last time clearly not remembering who I was or what my chart said. After another scan and still not seeing a heartbeat, he said he wanted to move me into another exam room that had a better machine with a clearer image. However, a patient was in that room so we had to wait another 30min to move into another room. The process was so horrible, my husband even missed his work flight because we were literally there ALL morning long.

I also had an appt scheduled a day or two after a hurricane. I kept trying to call their clinic to see if everything was still okay to come in and their voicemail still was the same, so I assumed all was good. When I went to the Baptist S location the entire building was closed. I called the clinic and still couldn't reach anyone and their after service person didn't know anything. I finally messaged their facebook and their social media rep messaged me back telling me all appts had been moved to the Baymeadows location (I had gotten NO update about this). When I got to the Baymeadows location, I got no apology and was just told to wait. While I waited (again over an hour to be seen), multiple patients started piling in with the same story and frustrations. By the time I left, the entire waiting room was so packed there were actually people waiting in the hallway and outside. SO UNPROFESSIONAL.

I had multiple procedures with Brown's clinic... One Laparoscopy/hysteroscopy and one D&C. After each surgery I felt butchered and had a horrible recovery. Even after my D&C I was still passing huge clots. I've had the same exact procedures at my new clinic and the recovery is night and day. The feedback Brown gave after my laparoscopy was also completely different than what we even had the surgery for. When my husband questioned him, he said he hesitated like he forgot and then said, "Oh yeah that's all fine."

I waited so long to post a review because I was literally afraid they'd tamper with my last embryo if they saw I said something negative about the clinic. I've also known multiple people who also went to Brown and had very similar experiences (or worse). Dr. Brown also claims he was the first clinic to have a successful IVM pregnancy which is 100% a complete LIE! Dr. Brown pays zero attention to his patients and is just in this industry for the money!

My friend recommended Dr. Brown, who helped her conceive two beautiful and healthy twins. I am 38, my husband is 45, we did only one cycle of IVF (it was my first time) and are expecting twins!!! I was able to confirm my friend's complete trust and confidence in Dr. Brown, the staff, and someone that most people forget - the embryologist. This office, hands down, has one of the most experienced embryologist! Please remember that choosing an infertility doctor means to also look at the entire staff. Dr. Brown was always present at the most critical parts of the process, and I had complete confidence in the rest of the team - everyone played an important role and each did their job with precision and experience. The office is very organized and I felt like I always knew what was being done, what was happening to my body, and the reasons for each step in the process. I was very happy with my whole experience. The nurses and staff were knowledgeable, personable, so caring, and always returned my phone calls or emails in a timely manner. On my retrieval day I was super anxious and one of the nurses, who I met on my very first appointment, called me at the doctor's office to tell me she was thinking about me because she was off that day. That meant so much to me, thank you! After trying to conceive naturally for almost four years, and without success, we are so grateful to have found Dr. Brown and his team. Thank you for helping us start our family.

Between the cervical cancer I had and the hypopituitarism my husband is currently battling we really felt the odds of conceiving were against us and 2 years of trying had proved us correct. A year ago we met with Dr. Brown and his staff to develop a plan. My husband was placed on HCG shots to replace his testosterone and I had a procedure called Hysterosalpingography (or HSG for short) to make sure my tubes were patent and everything was working properly. It does come with some mild short lived discomfort, I won't lie. Within 6 months my husband had a sperm count from literally 0 and in a year we just found out we are 7 weeks pregnant! We were able to conceive naturally! 10 years ago my husband was told he'd never have children and here we are with the help of Dr. Brown! I'm so glad the staff worked with us step by step while we explored the option of IUI and IVF and lucky for us we didn't have to take those steps! We are forever grateful.

My husband and I have been trying several years for #2, but with no luck. We were referred to Dr Brown and worked through the tests to rule out that nothing (major) was preventing us. I'm 40 and my husband is 47, so we are no spring chickens. We just completed our first IUI, and it was a success! We heard the heartbeat at 6 weeks and are being passed back to my regular OBGYN. Through the process Dr. Brown and his staff answered all of my questions, worked with my crazy schedule (I travel) and even squeezed me in when they were full due to timing issues. (So to the person that had to wait, maybe it was me....but I was grateful given that the clock was ticking and who knows, maybe that 1 hour made the difference). I gladly will wait a few extra minutes/hours if it gives someone else a chance too. Highly recommend!

Our experience with doctor Brown and his staff was beyond and above all expectation we could have had. They are so knowledable, kind, caring, and really make you feel comfortable. They keep you informed with every detail and are always available whenever you need them. We had been trying to conceive for six years until we found this place. They not only diagnosed some issues I’ve had for years (that nobody else ever found), but were also successful in helping us conceive! They feel more like family than a normal doctors office and we just feel absolutely blessed to have had their help and came into our lives! If I could rate higher than a five we would hands down!

My primary reproductive endocrinologist is Dr. Brown's partner, Dr. Cabera, but I saw Dr. Brown in the Orlando office twice for transvaginal ultrasounds during my fertility treatment (27 years old, partner 29 years old).

After a heartbreaking loss during an ectopic pregnancy (in which I lost a fallopian tube) and later, the removal of a cervical polyp, I was eager to conceive again. I was put on 100 mg of Clomid and instructed to take an Ovidrel trigger shot once Dr. Brown had examined my ovaries and follicles.

He was RIGHT on the timing -- my husband and I did timed intercourse and conceived our miracle baby on our FIRST cycle of Clomid.

Last week, Dr. Brown performed by 6 week ultrasound and confirmed the baby is in the right place! Hearing the heartbeat was music to my ears. My husband and I are over the moon. We cried and cried in the office. I'm actually sad that I won't be able to see Dr. Brown and Dr. Cabrera now that I have "graduated" from fertility care to my obgyn. I am eternally grateful to Brown Fertility, its providers, its staff...THANK YOU.

I can't wait to bring my baby back to meet you all next spring.

Expect wait times of 2+ hours with packed waiting rooms because they overbook. Dr Brown and his staff literally do not read charts before seeing patients and will say/ask you the same things every single visit. Speaking of his staff, only his nurses do the monitoring scans and you only really see Dr Brown during pre or post consults (literally even a diff Dr who I’ve never met beforehand did my egg retrieval). Such a horrible experience.

We are sorry that you were not satisfied with your experience at Brown Fertility. It is not common for our wait times to be in excess of 2 hours. Sometimes our patients have unexpected needs that can set our calendar back but we try and run a tight schedule and keep our patients aware of any delays. We wish you all the best.

We went to see Dr. Brown to do a frozen embryo transfer. During that time I had explained to him that I had 3 miscarriages and one live birth from an ivf cycle. I explained that I had been on ivig meds and what had kept me pregnant. He decided to be rude to my hematologist and not return her calls at all. Later I did the transfer with him but with no surprise we miscarried. Dr Brown hasn’t even remembered me after I had miscarried with him. He thought I was a new patient. I’d never ever trust that man with any of my other fertility needs. You’re better off finding another provider.
