I hated the midwife, whose beside manner was terrible. At 40 weeks, i refused to be induced, to be told By Dr. Gibbs that I was "on my own, then." I would seek ANYONE else for prenatal care and delivery.

We had the misfortune using Dr. Gibbs for our daughter's birth several years ago. Our daughter ended up with a lifetime disability, as a result of the excess force used during the delivery process. We relied on Dr. Gibbs so called expertise and were tragically disappointed. He never even apologized or followed up with us to see how we were doing. BE SURE to weigh all your options and have a look elsewhere.

Very disappointed. This is my second pregnancy this year. My last one had a rare fetal anomaly that didn't allow the baby to survive. Dr. Gibbs had come recommended from Winnie Palmer& at first seemed to be wonderful. With the most current pregnancy, I found him to be cold. At 12 weeks I said can I listen to the baby's heartbeat, his reply was "If there is a baby's heartbeat"..stated very cold. I couldn't believe he said that and my husband was in state of shock too. The last visit I had with him, he told me nothing of how the baby's heart beat sounded, if my weight gain was normal, etc. I called back to the office to ask if everything sounded normal. I was told he would call me back. He called me back telling me to find another OBGYN, I was 15 weeks pregnant. I could not believe how cold and insensitive he is the pregnant women. He really should not be handling this life group. I spoke around to other pregnant women who highly recommended Dr. Lopez. I am excited and set to go to him.

I am 9 weeks pregnant, and up until recently was a patient of Dr. Gibbs. I miscarried 3 months ago, and him and his office were very nice with seeing me and answering my questions after it happened. I had an appointment scheduled for my first sonogram (with this pregnancy) and couldn't wait to get in and verify I was having a healthy pregnancy this time around. I currently have a lapse in my insurance, but converage will begin again in only 45 days. Dr. Gibbs refused to see me unless I paid $4000. All I was there for was a sonogram to verify healthy pregnancy. He turned me away, knowing my history of miscarriage. My husband and I are disgusted, I was devestated. We are now looking for a new doctor that will treat us like a person, and actually care about our pregnancy. I do NOT recommend Dr. Gibbs to anyone! I always felt he was very cold, but I really like the nurses there so that's why I remained a patient up until now.

This has been my best annual experience ever. I was getting tired of waiting over an hour to get a very rushed 5 min. with the doctor who didn't have time or didn't care to ask if I had any questions. This place is a welcome relief. I waited about 10-15 min. in the waiting room, then the nurse took me back. She immediately APOLOGIZED for my wait. She explained that the other nurse that day had care trouble and that they don't like making people wait in that office. I saw the nurse practioner/midwife. She was very friendly. Did not rush me at all. Made sure we had talked about everything needed as I have previously had abdnormal paps. I dread going to the doctor since I am very overweight and so extremely dread my annual. Andrea the NP made me feel very comfortable. It was the quickest, least painful exam ever. She made sure even after the exam that she answered all my questions.

Was a loyal patient for 10 years. But my baby was born over the weekend, and Dr. Gibbs does not work on the weekends. I meet the on-call doctor for the first time in the delivery room, and he was awful. I was so disappointed Dr. Gibbs was not there for me in the most important moment of my life.
