Office staff rude and it took three days for them to tell me they would not order a replacement contact lens

I can't believe this man is still allowed to practice. I visited him 15 years ago when he worked in Boca Raton. I had just lost my job and my benefits were soon to expire so I thought I'd get a last minute eye exam. He fitted me with the wrong contacts and made me pay for them. He also told me my optic never was flat and I was going to go blind. I was referred to a specialist, who I never visited. Several months later, when I had a new job and insurance, I went to a real doctor and he found nothing. I asked him about my optic nerve. He checked and said it was fine. I explained to him what Lima had told me. Without saying anything he told me to look through some lenses and asked me if I could see. I told him my vision was blurry. He said that was the prescription Lima had given me. I liked his approach on basically saying the guy is a quack.

Dr. Lima is very thorough and shows concern, especially with my husband who is diabetic. Was very happy with his exams, but not with his "eyeglass specialist". I told him I couldn't afford the prices he quoted for glasses and all of a sudden he found another discount for me!!! He pulled the same crap on my 87 year old mother!!! She had her glasses made somewhere else for 1/3 of the price. But she really liked Dr. Lima

I highly recommend Dr. Lima. He gave me a thorough exam, He was so easy going that I brought my dd with Aspergers and high anxiety to him. He was wonderful with her.

He has a short fuse, and can be extremely rude at times. After years of seeing him without issues I asked some questions I thought were valid (at least I had good intent) and he snapped the wrong way. I was very dissapointed with him and his staff.

I had been to Sams before and gotten eye exams but never had such a thorough one before. Not sure about the other person but he did really good with my soft lenses and my husband's hard lenses.

Dr. Lima is always pleasant, patient, thorough, and compassionate. I have been going to him for more than 3 years. I highly recommend him.

I have been going to Dr. Lima for several years and find him to be extremely competent and knowledgeable. He spends a decent amount of time going over things and giving the eye exams and doesn't try to "sell" you on anything unnecessary.

Very disappointed. I was given the wrong prescription and when my contacts came in and did not fit right I was still obligated to pay for them. Had another eye exam and I had to purchase a new set of contacts. Completely unfair.In addition to the bad experience the office manager is very rude and incompetent as well.
