Can Whelan is a scam artist who took $6000 for me and then closed his business and ran off with my money. He is a scam artist and I have found out that he has done this to a lot of people and needs to be stopped.

I had a smile makeover with Dr Whelan several years ago. I had to have a several root canals and crowns placed. I couldn't chew or smile for years, until I saw Dr.Whelan. Since I hadmy teeth done by Dr Whelan, I can finally chew food, without any pain! Also, now I am the first one to initiate family photos, before I was always embarrassed to smile. Now my teeth look perfect and I love to show them off. I get compliments about my beautiful teeth all the time. Thank you so much Dr Whelan I love my new smile!

This dentist is horribly incompetent. I have now had 3 of the crowns he put on come off within 2 years. I am out a great deal of money and insurance will not cover the crowns if they have been done within the last five years. I have checked with other dentists and having crowns fall off (technically, this is the 4th as one has already fallen off twice) is highly unusual. I am writing this to warn everyone: DO NOT USE DR. WHELAN!!!!!! HE IS NOTHING MORE THAN A SLICK ADVERTISER WHO DOES VERY SHODDY WORK. THE OFFICE MANAGER IS MORE THAN PUSHY. I am planning to sue as I have no other recourse. Do not, please do not use this dentist!!!!!

paid $23,000 up front to perform 5 implants, 5 crowns and braces. work began may 2005 and my last visit was in February 2007. This dentist represented to me that he was experienced in dental implants and braces and could successfully replace my missing teeth. This turned out not be the case, as 2 implants were not done properly and had to be removed by an Oral Surgeon, Dr. Whelan assured me that he could correct my bite and it would take 6 months of braces, again this was not true as after 18 months on braces, my bite was worse than when I started. The crowns he put on did not fit properly and still cause me pain. All the work he promised to do was never completed. He will not return my calls, I now have constant jaw pain, that radiates to my neck and shoulders and headaches, from the work that was not done correctly.
