I have been seeing Dr. Noah Gilson for many, many years. I could not imagine myself going anywhere else and I dread the thought when it comes time for him to retire! He has treated me for Multiple Sclerosis as well as migraines. I completely trust my care in his hands, he has never treated me with anything but respect. He is very easy to talk to, and is always willing to listen to what my complaints are. He is even fun to joke around with! I always recommend Dr. Gilson to everyone I know, who may need a Neurologist. He even treated an uncle of mine who had an inoperable brain tumor. He treated him with the utmost respect. If you need a good Neurologist, Dr. Gilson is who you should see!!

If you're looking for a trustworthy, kind-hearted neurologist to give you, or your loved one the very best care and guidance, DO NOT choose Doctor. Gilson. He's arrogant, reckless and his misdiagnosis of my mother's neurological condition, caused my family months of severe anxiety and distress. After spending less than 10 minutes her, he nonchalantly shouted to me in a separate room, "She has Parkinson's." Not only did this later prove to be totally INCORRECT, it was an extremely callus and irresponsible way to deliver a very serious and life altering diagnosis to an already vulnerable patient and her family.

Doctor Gilson's demeanor and carelessness shook my family to the core; the memory alone brings my father to tears, something which pains me to see. Doctor Gilson was also very quick to sign my mother up for his money making trails, which he obviously needs to reach a certain quota for to get paid. This is extremely troubling given the brief amount of time he spent with my mom and the fact that she ultimately didn't even have Parkinson's. There aren't words to aptly express my disgust.

Forget this office and Doctor. He changed his method of examination. Doesn't even talk to me anymore, he hands me off to a couple of interns who just take blood pressure. No hello.no goodbye, except from me. Sorry to write this, he started out great, but now he is enjoying vacations.

Impressed and Confident ....From my first call to this ofice to my first visit with Dr. Gilson, I was treated like a valued patient. Dr. Gilson is booked two months in advance, yet the staff was able to fit me within 2 days and my office wait was under 10 mins. I thought I was going right into the Exam Room - But this Top Doc, and I can see why, was waiting for me in his office - WOW - a doctor that listens!! AND he truly listened to every word and symptom I had to share. He even showed me pics of my condition. I am confident that Dr. Gilson can not only treat my condition, but can send me on the road to recovery...and it is so crucial to find a doctor who treats the patient and the condition...and I found that in Dr. Noah Gilson right here in New Jersey - guess I don't have to travel to Philly after all. Thanks Doc. See ya in Jan. ~DMG

I had previously seen Dr. Gilson earlier this year in relation to an MRI that needed analysis. He was so kind and caring then in relation to my special brain condition and said that he would be happy to work with me with symptoms. Today after waiting 1 1/2 months to see him with major life altering neurological symptoms I was given the bum's rush after a few routine reflex tests. My major symptoms of leg weakness, dizziness, neck pain, etc. are resulting from brain surgery issues in 2010. I couldn't wait to speak with him and get his expert opinion. He dismissed me after less than 5 minutes and told me that our time was over. I asked him "where should I go from here" and he was nonspecific and uncaring. I would love for him to experience my symptoms at their worst for one day and tell me that I shouldn't be seeking help from "the best neurological practice in Monmouth County, NJ". Perhaps medical schools should be teaching humanity and empathy instead of making the most money.

Yes, it can take a while to get an appointment, but the staff is quite on the ball. I found Dr. Gilson to be very insightful. He answered all questions I had fully and with confidence. I couldn't have asked for a better first experience!

The WORST STAFF I have EVER encountered in a medical setting. Made an urgent call to office, took 72 hours for a call back. The doctor was QUICK to decide my problem was due to surgery yet months later I have the same symptoms. NOT A GOOD doctor and DOES NOT deserve the top ratings of magazines hung all over his walls.

I wouldn't go back to this doctor if he was the last neurologist in NJ. Left me in a hospital wondering if I had a tumor or a brain hemorrhage and went on vacation!! After release that day from hospital, I had to call primary care doc for a diagnosis. When I had a follow up a couple weeks later, he tested my reflexes and a few other things and said "keep me informed". That was it.
