Absolutely excellent. Was able to research my somewhat rare condition and come up with a solution that has worked amazingly well for me with life changing results - and then when the supplier discontinued the specialty lenses that had solved my problem, he was again able to find another resolution that provided equally superb results.

I have been seeing Dr. LoPresto for 15 years. A few years ago he told me I have something in my eyes he had never seen before. Today he became extremely impatient with my questions (about a condition that no corneal specialist has ever seen before) and actually 'fired' me! He became angry and aggressive. He raised his voice and told me, "I give up". He then told me I should go see someone else and basically kicked me out of his office, he did not offer me the name of another ophthalmologist and told me I could take my medical records with me. Which I did. Please do not go to this doctor. I've never been treated more rudely or unprofessionally in my life by a doctor (or anyone I've dealt with in this kind of capacity). I told his office staff about it when I went out to the desk and they were so embarrassed, they tried to console me (they are really great). He doesn't know how to say "I don't know but we'll figure this out together". He doesn't want anyone to question him.

My husband had a very rare condition ocular pemphygoide and as side effect secretions accumulated because his lid were deformed and he couldn't open his eyes. Before finding him we had to travel from Tampa to Miami to Bascom Palmer. He would clean his eyes when a lot of doctors would not even try and with a medication he gave my husband his condition improved.

I was hesitant to accept Dr. Lopresto after years with his predecessor Dr. Burke, but I've found him professional, no-nonsense, caring, and most important knowledgeable. An excellent doctor.

Dr. LoPresto is extremely unprofessional. He literally was abusive to my 75 year old mother who simply went by the advice of her oncologist. When one undergoes chemotherapy, what procedures they can undergo are limited. This was baffling to Dr. LoPresto who was nasty to both my mother and me. He was offensive to the point that I am baffled that he actually maintains a practice with such a vicious attitude. He leaves little room for disagreement.
