Dr. Bovard and his staff are excellent - compassionate, knowledgeable, and kind. He really wants to help make lives better and that comes through in every visit!

Dr. Bovard is the most arrogant surgeon I have met. His office staff is incompetent and he employes his wife for cheap labor and she makes mistake after mistake. When there is a problem and you complain to Dr. Bovard about the matter he penalizes the patient instead of taking responsibilty for his staff and showing empathy for the problems caused. There are much better baritatric surgeons in Raleigh. My advice is that you seek elsewhere as you are bound to be unhappy with the patient care provided by Dr. Bovard and his office staff.

Dr. Bovard is genuinely concerned about his patients. I have had three appointments with him so far. When he talks to you, he doesnt talk "down" to you or make you feel really bad about the situation you are in. He cares and really does want to help the patient get a new lease on life. I would recommend Dr. B to anyone.
