We have been going to Dr. Balachandra's office for the last 10 years. We always had the best experience. She is very professional, friendly, and caring. Her staff is also very good and friendly. Our kids love going to her. We have recommended many friends and all are happy with their treatment. We highly recommend this dentist.

Please save yourself life-time trouble by avoiding this dentist. I have horrible memories of what she did 7+ years back and continue to suffer. I am sharing for the benefit of others. I decided to visit her after I saw her at our community (Indian) meets. Later I discovered that she was actually sponsoring the community events to advertize herself (Just google her name along with the word "sponsor"). When I went to see her, she was nice, but didn't explain me the procedures and fillings. Only later did I discover that she had used mercury amalgam fillings. I have had sleep problems since then, lost my job, ended up in depression. In my first and only visit, she had drilled 3 teeth, one root canal on left molar, and then fillings on 2 different tooth. Every dentist I met later said that the root-canal cap wasn't done properly. The upper and lower teeth don't come into contact properly, so since then I have been chewing mostly on the other side. After the visit, she called me six to seven times to schedule a followup visit saying treatment is incomplete, but never went as the events had left me worried. Luckily a friend suggested a good one.
Some suggestions:
1) Your tooth are very valuable, any modification will affect you in one or the other. Always resist any new teeth digging.
2) Chose a dentist who is minimalist, one who doesn't touch healthy teeth. I have heard stories where most of their teeth were drilled. Google if the dentist is advertizing, has a fancy website or office, be cautious in that case. Talk to friends who have been before. I tend to be cautious about any negative reviews amongst many good reviews.
3) Just politely escape by saying "can we do it later" to any drilling. Take 2nd opinion and change dentist if needed.
4) Always brush and floss. Prevention is better than cure!

Dr Balachandra is an AWESOME dentist! I had a bad experience with my previous dentist and was not very comfortable in visiting dentist, knowing what I went through, she was considerate & thoughtful during her services. I got my tooth extracted, filled cavities and deep cleaning. I highly recommend her, if you have tight schedule during week days, she is open on Saturday & Sunday.

Very good! Best dentist ever! Went to many dentists, but this is definately the best one! Very good with kids. I don't know why people are talking about the money issues. With such a great and gentle treatment, doesn't matter if it is overpriced, even though it usually isn't. Please go to this dentist. You will get the best quality.

I went to Dr. Balachandra's office because of my wisdom tooth pain.It was very nice of her to call the other doctor to arrange my teeth removal.I had very good experience.He was really good.I followed Dr's instuctions after tooth removal&I didnt have much pain!!Whoever wrote the below comment ,should have called Dr Balachandra to find out what could have been the problem! I remember reading about something called "Dry Socket".It seems it is not very uncommon after difficult tooth removal.I don't think you should judge this dentist because you had pain after wisdom tooth removal.I like my dentist. I recommend that you go to her. You will like her as much as I do.

i have never such a worst doctor ever. be prepared to loose your good tooth in case her patients scheduled for tooth removal does not turn up, she will look who is the next pray and remove ur tooth, becuase she has a tie up with one external tooth remover who comes to her office. i think he needs to have specific number to come, it might turn ur number. She will ask what is ur eligibility and seems as if she is charging low but she will wipe all the money from ur insurance. what ever she works the same problem will repeate again with in no time. she does not know how to save tooth but very well knows how to wipe all your insurance cost.....one of the worst dentist money minded...fond of money ........i am still suffering from the pain which she had treated my family was suffering for almost more than twenty days after a good tooth was removed for no reason...be prepared to loose ur tooth

THIS DOCTOR IS THE WORST DOCTOR ONE CAN EVER GO TO. Does not KNOW ANYTHING. can't even attend to ONE PATIENT properly. ONLY WORRIES ABOUT MONEY MONEY AND MONEY. VERY SMARTLY WILL TRICK YOU INTO COMING AND GETTING MORE TREATMENT. One of the worst ever doctors i've ever gone to. Extremely HARSH in treatment. Does not care for the patient being satisfied with the treatment since she wants more money by getting more patients treated during the same time. Atleast when your paying you want good treatment. Far from that. So its a complete WASTE OF BOTH TIME, MONEY and definitely HEALTH AT RISK. I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU VISIT ANYONE BUT HER and don't regret getting treatment like I did.

I would highly recommend Dr. Balachandra as a dentist. Dr Balachandra takes the time to thoroughly discuss the issue and all the possible options available to her patients, and only after consulting and figuring out the best solution for her patients she performs the task, be it; general or deep cleaning, root canal, extraction, or filing, etc or referring them to a specialist.I have also found and noticed that Dr. Balachandra is a very down to earth doctor and who doe’s not take or likes to take monetary advantage of any patients who need her assistance. The medical office is very clean, she and her staff members are very courteous; polite and professional; and phone calls are promptly answered and or replied as needed. Dentistry practices are conducted in a very professional but a calm and relaxed atmosphere for the well being of the patient. Again, I would highly recommend Dr. Balachandra as a dentist to all my family and friends.
