I used to work at this office. He is a crook, he will bill both your health and vision insurance. He price gauges on glasses and has you pay a crazy amount and then he bills the insurance for an additional payment. He doesn't have properly trained staff. He does not like to be told that he is doing something wrong when it comes to insurance. His wife is "HR" and god forbid you need to take off or anything, they will find a reason to fire you.

Awful experience there. Jodi( eye tech) is calling you sweetheart, and honey one minute, and when you tell her the glasses you paid for you couldn't see out of, there is no more sweetheart, or honey. She actually argued so badly with me, that she finally hung up on me. This has been absolutely horrific experience. I have an auto immune disorder, which they know about. So shocked that a Doctor would allow his staff to be so heartless. Lastly, she blatantly lied that I spoke to another patient in the office and exaggerated the cost of glasses. They should have paid more attention to the actually conversation. I said I could not see out of the glasses I received to Jodi, not the women in the room, and the women said don't pay for them , stand your ground. Next time you want to point fingers, please point them in the right direction. I can see why they get awful reviews.

Visit went way downhill as closing time approached since my appointment was near end of day. My questions weren’t answered in order to make informed choices on my multifaceted condition- making it a near useless, yet very expensive visit anyway. Frankly, the doctor was rude & abrupt with me, I paid up front, but he refused to give me my RX to fill elsewhere. They do border on price gouging for services not covered by insurance. Not a good experience.

Been going to this doctor for years and unfortunately did not have a good experience today . I came in for a yearly exam and the doctor said I needed a new prescription so they had to order a trial pair of contacts and have me come back in to measure contacts and pay $125 contact measurement fee . Not sure how you order contacts without measuring first !!!

It didn’t make sense since I already did this and paid the fee to his office when I first started wearing contacts . I come in for my follow up appt and they only have ONE lense and the fee was basically to measure one eye. And it was the same prescription as the right eye so it didn’t make sense why a fee or measurement was needed for the left eye . ( they jus ordered what fit on the right eye )

Also the measurement entailed just looking into my eye and making sure the contact didn’t move when I blinked .

Plus I had to pay a $15 copay when it was a follow up for first appt . This doctor only cares about money and makes you signs things when you can’t even see what your signing after all the drops. He also wouldn’t give me a copy of my prescription until I came back for fitting to guarantee the fitting payment was locked in . Also what’s the point of an appointment if you need to wait two hours. Go somewhere else to someone who cares about you and not the money .

I had a 1:00 appointment which I rushed to in order to show up promptly.
I waited in the office until 1:30.
I was told, when asked, how much longer I would have to wait.
They told me I was next.
I got up and left.
Felt disrespected.
My time is as valuable as the doctor's.

The office staff is rude and inconsiderate. They are difficult to deal with and make it very unpleasant. Wait time is awful; I have never been seen at my scheduled appointment time. Dr. Coniaris may be a great dr, but his office staff needs a total over haul.

This doctors office is the size of a broom closet. He preforms medical eye exams in a smaller room in the closet. His staff hunts you down for co-payments like thats how they get paid off of! very said...... Has way to many appts booked each time he is in SI...Please have a seat in the hallway.....also wait time to be seen is approx 50 mins....sad
