My pulmonologist (asthma) , mothers (ventilator dependent) and husbands (COPD) Love this doctor. Very caring, very knowledgeable. Good bedside manner, but straight answers.

Dr. Patel's staff is terribly rude. We have been seeing him for a year for a long-term disease. When we need to see him, we are now told to go to the Emergency Room because his schedule is "full". Though there are other drs in his office, we are not allowed to see them when his schedule is full. Dr. Patel himself is a very nice gentleman, however, by the treatment received from his staff, he has evidently given up on us and no longer has the time to see us. We are tired of going to the emergency room when all the Dr. would need to do is give us an injection of solumedrol. His waiting room is always full and the wait is at least an hour or more.

Dr. Patel is wonderful. He really cares about his patients and does his best to help them, but if you have a serious/rare medical condition like I do, you might want to consider finding a doctor in the Medical Center for everyone else, I strongly recommend him.
