I’m sure the quality of services at Park Dental is stellar, judging by the abundance of positive reviews, and I only wish I could have experienced them for myself. I called and made an appointment, took the time off from work, arrived on time and the receptionist was unable to find any record of my appointment. I then had to make a second appointment for a month later, take time off work again, and 15 minutes out from the office, called ahead to find I again had no appointment. The receptionist then told me that her colleague (who I had seen in person and spoken with the first time) informed her that because they had stopped taking patients with my insurance, she had not made an appointment for me, and that she had said this when I was in their office. Which was a complete lie, nor was I ever informed at any point that my insurance wasn’t being taken any more. So in closing, if you are able to actually see Dr. Park, so much the better, but his office staff appear to have no comprehension of how to do their jobs. They are unreliable, uncommunicative, and at least one of them will lie to save face.

Opened my eyes and decided to see a second opinion. Was told needed a procedure (way overpriced), so sought a different dentist, explained the situation, and was told different. Plus, new dentist could do with 90% of my insurance covering it compared to first quote from Parks near two grand. Will probably not go back again.

An absolute professional, Dr. Park has served us well for over 20 years. We would not consider going to any other dentist.

Rude staff. Rude dentist with a God complex. Office is very dated and cramped. I will never go back.

I wish I had read these reviews before using this dentist, & written a bad review for him months ago but I was too angry. He seems to be very proficient at messing up something so that you have to come back for even more work done.
He put in a crown for me but it was too far from the tooth behind it & shouldn't have been. Food, especially meat, got caught in the gap he left. I had to come back several times to have it re-applied & even used drugstore adhesive to fix it back myself on more than one occasion. When I said this to him he grinned & said "oh, I can fix that. For $1200." I declined. The last time I went back to have it re-affixed I told his accomplice, Brenda, why I needed to come in. Got an early appointment the next day & she handed me the folder & asks "tooth 28?". I don't keep track of their numbers & didn't answer so she said "lower right?" Yes, the same one.
Dr. Park came in, barely spoke a greeting & began w/the work. He drilled away the perfectly good tooth behind his short replacement & made a new crown. I had a mouth full of stiff plastic & couldn't speak during this. I thought he knew what he was supposed to do w/the mistake he made but no, he compounded it. And charged me $1200.
I've always read that no good dentist will destroy a healthy tooth, but this no good dentist did. There was nothing wrong w/the healthy tooth he destroyed.
This kind of practice is normal for him & yes, he does have issues w/tall people. He is terribly hard on some of his staff which explains the turnover rate. Also, I had to pay $30 for copies of my records & wait 3 weeks. ???
Please find another dentist & do not be taken in w/his teaching status. He has no integrity or honesty.

Why didn't I read his ratings before scheduling. Long story short they use cpt codes that aren't covered by insurance so he can charge his rate. 4 extractions covered 100% but $645 for sedation and a filling. I did research an oral surgeon uses cpt codes my insurance covers so when asked for a referral I was given attitude and told I had to contact insurance and get the auth# then they'll write ref. Took my other daughter for her filling pd $200 for him to say she needs a root canal, packed the tooth and left nerve exposed so here I am trying to see a specialist asap for something he should've never attempted. My daughter has pain and swelling now to see how much more i'll be spending as soon as I get their referrals to the oral surgeon i'm changing dentist. He doesn't explain the staff is the communication back and forth I do not recommend him or he's office. Lesson learned read ratings before my eyes get poked again. $80 for no call no show, I can understand $25-$30 really!

Office doesn't seem all that busy, so wait time was only around 10 minutes. The staff could be better. Simple checkup went over quickly; found that I had very thick plaque buildups on the backside of my rearmost teeth and that my wisdom teeth are coming in. In and out fairly quickly; honestly the less time inside a dentist's office the better.
