Dr Kaplan is an amazing doctor. He reminds me of a younger version of Dr Welby. He is so thoughtful and very accurate. He is the best doctor I have ever had.

My experience was not so great and even very sad. This doctor seems knowledgable, but misses important clues. He does not like when you ask him questions. Remembered for a long -long time that I refused allow an invasive procedure and he "lost time" on me. It turns out that this procedure was unnecessary after all. He refused to see me after that and dropped me.

Dr. Kaplan is awesome! His staff, including his wife, are awesome too. He did a robotic hysterectomy on me. I healed so fast. I was incredibly pleased with how "capable" I was after the surgery. I had minimal pain after the surgery. Dr. Kaplan spent a lot of time with me during my first appointment, answering my questions and looking for other possible answers to my feeling terrible. I'm so happy I found Dr. Kaplan!

I’ve been going to Dr. Kaplan for several years now. I can’t imagine being in the care of another doctor. At my yearly physical, the pap test came back abnormal. Dr. Kaplan did every test imaginable to find out why. Dr. Kaplan received my results late one afternoon and was floored. He immediately consulted multiple doctors discussing my diagnosis. We received a call from Dr. Kaplan late that night with the news no one wants to hear - I had a rare fast growing form of uterine cancer. He arranged everything. I was to meet the cancer specialist the next day to discuss my treatment. Dr. Kaplan has been with me every step of the way. He called me the night before surgery (from Mexico!), visited me every day in the hospital and I have had weekly calls from him since this journey began. Dr. Kaplan is a true doctor that cares and listens to his patient (even if there are no visible symptoms). I owe my life to Dr. Kaplan. I wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for him.

I have been under the care of Dr. Alan Kaplan for the past few years. He is by far one of the best doctors I have ever had. I am 50 years old and only a few days ago had a laproscopic hysterectomy performed by Dr. Alan Kaplan. I opted for this surgery due to complications and discomfort caused by fibroid tumors. I was reluctant to have any type of surgery, but am so thankful I did. I can honestly say that I have not felt this healthy for years. Dr. Kaplan's immense knowledge, quality care, and support were appreciated by not only me as the patient, but by my family as well. Dr. Kaplan's humor and down to earth personality are an added bonus. His office staff, which includes his lovely wife, Linda and very sweet medical assistant Amber, make the office a cheerful and relaxing place to be. It's been only five days since my surgery and I feel like I'm 30 years old again. I would encourage any woman who needs a hysterectomy to explore these options with Dr. Alan Kaplan. CD

I have always gone to a female gynecologist, but Dr. Kaplan was highly recommended when I became pregnant with my first child. I was unsure of whether or not, as a male, he would "get" what it's like to be a woman. Especially during such an emotional and personal experience, I really wanted a doctor that I felt could not only take excellent care of me, but relate to me as well. The second I met him, all of my worries were put at ease. In addition to being one of the highest rated doctors in California, Dr. Kaplan is incredibly personable and funny. My husband and I looked forward to each prenatal visit. He spends a great deal of time with each patient, answers all of our questions, and goes the extra mile to get to know the families he works with. I would, without hesitation, recommend Dr. Kaplan to anyone searching for an excellent doctor with an excellent personality!

I have been a patient of Dr. Kaplan's for a number of years. He has been with me through both of my pregnancies and I don't have the words to express my respect and gratitude for the care and compassion that he has given to me. Dr. Kaplan is more than an amazing doctor...he is a wonderful man. You'll never find another doctor that will give the level of care that Dr. Kaplan gives to his patients. This is long overdue. Dr. Kaplan is one of a kind. I had no idea I could actually enjoy going to the OBGYN. He and his staff make me feel extremely comfortable and they are very lighthearted, easy going, and funny in a situation that is usually painful and akward. He is very knowledgable and thorough. As long as I live in this area, I will never see another OBGYN because Dr. Kaplan is the best there is.

I have been going to Dr. Kaplan for almost 30 years. It is because of Dr. Kaplan that I haven't switched medical plans and paid less, such as with Kaiser. I knew that I found a gold mine with Kaplan and wouldn't find that again. Dr Kaplan has been there for me through thick and thin. From the birth of my first son and second son and the death of my husband, he has been a rock for me. He has always had the time to talk with me and answer all of my many questions. I never felt rushed because he had other patients to see. On my very first visit I felt a little embarressed because he wasn't that much older than me. He quickly put my mind to rest with his kindness, patience and knowledge and it has continued through the years. I am now 50 years old and I will stay with Dr Kaplan for many more. Dr Kaplan has been the best for me and I know that everyone else who has him feels the same. I am so glad that I was directed to him through as very good friend many years ago. You're the best!
