One receptionist was extremely rude on multiple occasions, but the other one was kind. Dr. Krunic was rushed and didn't care to ask about my symptoms or anything. I didn't have a chance to ask any questions about my condition or possible treatment options. He was in the room with me for under 5 minutes, then said he would be right back and didn't come back. He just had a nurse give me a stack of prescriptions, some unrelated to my condition (like one was for acne, but I just have a few pimples that I don't care about at all) with minimal, hurried explanations by the nurse. I tried to ask about the prescriptions but her answers were short and hurried. I tried to ask about my condition but she gave half-answers, so I gave up. He had the nurse administer steroids without any explanations and without giving me the chance to discuss other treatment options. What brief time he did spend talking to me himself at the beginning was spent trying to make me feel anxious that I didn't come sooner. I didn't come sooner because he was booked for a month. Why did my primary doc refer me to this clinic??
The waiting room wait was long.
This office seems to charge for anything and everything, so be careful. New patient fee was over $200.
I found a new dermatologist, even though Dr. Krunic's clinic charges a significant fee for transferring records.

After waiting in the office for over 2 hours with other tired patients, I was led to an exam room. He has a team of staff that help him which is good but no one apologizes for waiting so long. No one tells me what to expect next. He comes in for a minute, makes me take off all my clothes in front of the whole staff (without anyone telling me in advance). I understand he needs to exam my whole body but he could have done it in a more respectful manner. He then removes more moles which I did not want to be removed because my primary told me they were likely benign. And of coarse when he sent them for a biopsy they were benign. He then rushes through and tries to sell me product like an infomercial. I don't know if I came into a doctor's office or a scam artist. I have never been so disgusted. I feel he wants to bill as much as he can to make money. For him, money seems to be more important than the patient. My primary even felt bad about my office visit.

He did not ask even the most basic informaiton, at least to my mind. He knew we had been to another dermatologist, but never asked what medications that dr had tried or how they worked. He barely spent a minute looking at my son before prescribing 4 different medications. When we got to pharmacy we found at that 2 of the topical medications were not generally covered by insurance and one was $125 and another was $400. Our insurance--to the surprise of the pharmacist did cover the higher one. But we were not able to afford the other. I think he should have been aware of this and discussed this when prescribing meds.

After years of trying to find an answer to my daughter's acne, we found Dr Krunic. His plan for treatment was different from that of her former dermatologists. He made it his personal cause to make her acne-free, and it worked! We have recommended him to several friends for a variety of skin issues, and all have been equally pleased.
